Um... it does? I didn't notice... which Zelda game anyway? I always thought fairy's fountain themes were slow and played with a harp. Oh, well.

I wrote myself a theme!
« Reply #64 on: August 17, 2006, 01:48:34 AM »
Well, since I finally got a "real" character, I submitted him to the charas user resource thingers. Then I realized my character needed a theme, and of course I wanted to write it. I don't know where I was going with this, but I like how it turned out. I wasn't really shooting for anything, and this was the result.

I like it, but it's a little too repeatitive for my tastes. The end caught me off guard and was good, I liekd that part a lot/ It would've been a lot better though if it would've changed, even a little bit.

It's really pretty. Nice choice of intruments.

Now make a Meiscool Theme!

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah, Dren I know what you mean. I had been wanting to change it all along, and I tried a couple of times, but it really didn't blend well. :( I can try again though. I could attempt to redo the entire middle part.

Oh, yeah, Meiscool don't you already have Venus Lighthouse? :p Just kiddin', I can make you a theme, even though I told myself I wouldn't do any more requests because I was too busy. I just can't turn one down when I'm in the mood.

Well, you know how I am. Regal, smart, ***-like, pretty, sexy, concieted, and convinced that I'm better then everyone. Make it reflect those traits. (note, I don't honestly think these things, just my forum attitude. )

Congratulations! You are officially the owner of the biggest pain in the *** midi request I've ever done! Lol, I ended up for the first time actually changing the midi time signature because I picked a strange jazz beat that resulted in making the notes really hard to do because I had to tie them weird and stuff... ah, nevermind I can't explain it. If you really want to know, open it up and notice the 5/4 time signature and how the notes are written.

Oh, and sorry if it's not varied enough like dren said about my last one, but as I said, the notes were a huge pain in the *** to write. That, and I ran out of ideas.

So, here ya go. I felt jazz best suited you. :p

New MP3!
« Reply #73 on: August 18, 2006, 08:37:40 PM »
I'm glad you all like it. :)

And now I have a new mp3 that could go great in a game soundtrack as a dark ambience. I call it Slow Strings In D Minor. My creativeness is showing again. ;)

Btw, this whole thing except for the very beginning is improv. It's over 3 minutes because I just got carried away and lost my sense of time. :p Let me know how you like it. I was thinking of using it for something.

sweet, I like it. What do you use to make your mp3s? The one I have is just way too confusing and has too many other features that just clutter it and make my head asplode.
