Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Hey, I saw HP and the Chalice of Fire last Saturday. The movie has great visual effects and stuff, but many thing that happen on the book are not named in the movie. I'd say to those who didn't watch it to gop and watch it, but if you read the book before (as I did) you'll be a bit dissapointed. Still it's a great movie. Has anyone seen it yet?

Chalice of Fire? Well, technically, it's Goblet of Fire, but that's not your fault.

Yeah, they couldn't fit a 1000-odd-page book into a 2 or 3-hour movie, so they have to cut some parts out. That's what they did with the other three movies. But I'm sure that it was still a great movie, as the books just keep getting better (6 is definately my favourite so far, and 7 is probably going to be better), and apparently the movies do too.

Huh, I read a couple of those books and I saw the first movie. It kinda makes me sick that there turning novels into movies. At this rate were gonna have to say "Dont judge a book by its movie." thats just wrong that america doesnt have to read the books now, just go see the movie...Whats the world coming too....

lol thats pretty clever. Who did you steal it from? Oh, come on, we all know your just repeating something you heard. ;)

Anyways, I've been debating whether or not I should spend 2+ hours of my precious time watching this movie. I have very little time to myself between responsibilities these days and I've been disappointed before by poor choices with which to spend that time.

For me, it was a Fire Grail.

I didn't saw it yet, but if its as good as Harry Potter 3, then it'll suck.

EDIT: About the books, 6 it's the worse, in my opinion, too much centered in Harry, Hagrid almost never appears and it's turning in one of those "Hey, let's seek shinny objects scateed across the world!" things.

The only reason I would ever see harry potter, is cos the guy who plays Hagrid is a Scottish comedian

That's pretty shallow to say. Some people don't take pleasure in just sitting there holding a book up. I like reading some things, but I'd rather watch a movie and be able to talk, eat, drink, and pet my cat at the same time.

I just saw the movie. It was alright, but the 4th was my favorite one so far and so there was a lot that was missing - for a lot of things they just changed what happened or what character did what.

What about Prancer!? All that was about was a boy that didn't wanna shoot the deer, and the corner he turned to when he needed to cry.
