i find the tutorials pretty helpfull....

Id more like to find somebody who can handle things like menu systems and inventory, and multiplayer and stuff like that.

Well, the dudes over at pixeljoint have talent. No offense to the rest of us, but those guys are good. Its why I never joined haha.

the chipsets are the one thing ive gotten absolutely no criticism on. Which i think means they are good. Thanks dude.

As for the sprites, at least they are being constructive.
I lurked there for a long time, and was afraid to post my meager RPGMAKERWOOT resources, but i think Id like to get some better knowledge and up my skills before deciding on a version of my templates to use.

Yeah, i dont want to sound braggy or anything...but i dont have a whole lot of compititon here as far as other tileset makers...and the sprites im doing these days are really not comparable to 2k3 sprites...its like apples and oranges, you know? I only recently joined pixeljoint a few days ago, but i figure the only way Ill keep getting better at a satifactory rate is to get some advice from people that are leaps and bounds ahead of me....and god knows, some of those dudes really really are....
they make me look like a hack of a tattooist trying to make pixel animations with a clubbed hand.

the first comment i got was along the lines of 'i see you ripped your poses off of megaman x'
and i felt like a noob

Dont bite my head off and call me a noob but what is ms paint and fireworks and stuff...
I just use the desktop paint. Is it easier ANd does it cost money to use like photoshop

MS paint is Microsoft paint. As in, the standar paint that comes with a windows computer.
