Yeah, people tend to use pronouns without prior defining them when they are lying, exaggerating, or don't know what they are talking about.  Not accusing anyone.  But Smo has a good point here.

Rev, yes people who like Rap and Hip Hop do disrespect Rock and Metal.  Being someone who is eclectic and will listen to anything if it sounds good, I can tell you there are very few rap songs that I like, (mostly because of the rediculous lyrics), most of them are by Eminem (shame to admit it) and the Hip Hop I like is more along the line of Gorillaz (thanks to Smo) and I really hate the mainstream artists.

One other thing, people need to stop classifying Metal into Rock and Hip Hop into Rap.  They are all different.  Rap is poetry to a beat, Hip Hop is a culture with some Rap in it.  Metal and Rock are also different.

but I digress. San Andreas has quite a few good rap/hip hop songs, being set in 1992 and all.

But me favourite hiphop song is White Lines, by Grandmaster Flash and friends.

LOL, I saw a show by Pablo Francisco that he immitates (sp?) R&B...he says R&B's always five black guys with no shirt, saying like: "Yeah...I´m horny, yeah".

Plus, they´re always singing how fine the girl is:

"Girl you fiiii-iii-iine! Let you down....Fiiiiiiiiiiine!"

LOL...and they always say "smooth, soft and silky in every song...That´s the best show ever...

The best part is when he mocks rappers, saying that when the get their awards, they always credit God:

*imagine that fast rapper way of speaking*

"I´d like to thank Jesus Christ...The hope'o'God'almighty...For my number one hit single, it´s called S.uck you mama!"

ROFL...

I generally have to agree, particularly his older stuff.

Almeidaboo: lol, yeah. Especially that God thing, when their songs are about gatting some G, or pimpin' hoes. It's not logical!

And then, Archem descended from the heavens (attached to what is clearly a rapidly deflating giant balloon) and speaks unto you yet again.
Yeah. I can agree with anyone who says that anything today or mainstream that gets involved in anything able to be labeled "rap" sucks. Like I've said before, I'm biased towards rock and, yes, I generalize. But to recieve any acknowledgement of anything "hip-hop" as anything other than suck-balls or something similar is a HUGE deal. So feel glad when I say this: Old school or underground rap is the only kind acceptable. I will (on occasion) change the station on GTA to a "rap" station (we'retalkin' Vice City and San Andreas here) to listen to a few songs. Hell, even the Tony Hawk games get something that isn't about "livin' th' gangsta' life" or "shootin' up b'hind a dumpsta'" or "f.uck tha' po-lice" or "bein' tha' pimp-juice whi' ma' hoes". Something that doesn't make me want to asplode some fags in the face with my guitar of agony. My friends can agree from time to time, too. Just today, my friend (who listens to what I do, and stuff heavier on the rock chain than I do, and, sadly, COUNTRY (also dead now) music that the media churns out today) asked about the name of a rap song that had System of a Down doing the music in the background. Admittedly, he probably wanted to know because of the System part (one of the best damn bands in the world right now, by the way), but that's one small step towards acceptance. Personally, I like that one Sugar Hill Gang song on THUG 2. If only I could remember what it was called... And, as I leave you, remember this: I don't "bash" music, I just leave my opinion. And The Offspring rock.

Indeed. You've seen some of cultural art known as graffiti. Aslo there's the 5 nations of Hip Hop and Rap, People mainly hear Dirty South and believe all Rap or Hip Hop is the same but it's not.
