OKAY! This' my thread, therefore MY TERRITORY! Unless you wanna be captured and thrown to the dickers (front line units, though they attack from the back), leave!

Iīll burn your flag...youīre violating rule #1 from the "International Forum War Agreement".

#1: "After the first attack, or head biting, the offended must retreat and never come back."

See?

Heh, back to why I hated FF8.

It umm... sucked. Again, the lvl up system stunk because monsters lvled up with you. The drawing system sucked because it took all the use out of Magic and MP. The gun blade system was bad because it was only with squall (the pull r trigger) and didn't take bullets or nothing. Items were very expensive to make (aka the best weapons) Once you got the aura magic the game became way to easy. The way you got summons sucked, as you could easily mess up and lose them. And, it was near impossible to play it without using the strategy guide.

I didnīt think all that...

I liked that the gunblade system was only with Squall, that made him one of the coolest FF characters of all. Plus, every character had his expertise, which was really cool.

The Storyline, even being a little confusing, was really cool, cause I loved the whole Seed thing, the Gardens, etc...awesome!

Well, MP was NOT present in the game...it had no meaning really...Magic had a meaning: the more you had, more damage yyou did with magic.

I liked draw cause it was original. Pretty clever system...

I missed a lot of Summons, but that was because I was dumb...

I finished the game without a guide! It wasnīt hard at all, except for the final boss!

Finally, I didnīt know the monster leveled up with the characters...is that true?

GFs sucked in every way possible. Too powerful, too easy to use, AND they erased memories, what's with that?

Yes, and that plot thickener was so dumb. I never put a GF on Irvine my second play through, and the cutseen was still the same. Talk about lame.

And yes, the monsters lvled up with you Almeidaboo. They adveraged your character's lvls and that's what lvl the monsters came out at. Really pissed me off.

I'll tell you. BOOST COMMAND!!! :jumpin:
Oh well. I'm planning to play FF8 in full by myself, which I never did before, so that I can get to know it far beyond the demo that I still use to play from time to time, and more like the days when I still watched my brother play it. Darn that scratch on the first disc though..

That was the part of FFX that I didnīt really get (understand this: even though Iīm fluent and know a lot about english, itīs not my native language, and some things arenīt exacly easy to get)...He was a dream "made real" pecause of the dreams of those people in the walls right?

I need to play it again, to understand it better...I liked blitz ball a lot!

Lonewolf: I enjoy playing ANY RPG too, but that doesnīt mean theyīre all good, or as good as each other...some have your special attention, and thatīs what we want to know...

Actually, that WAS the purpose of the thread...now itīs a all purpose RPG discussion (and itīs going pretty well! I never made a thread that made it to the 9th page!)

Blitzball is awesome, I wish it actually existed but meh.

The Faiths are sleeping and are in a dream stat. Sin is the link between those two worlds; the dream and Spira. If someone from the dream gets sucked in by Sin, he'll arrive in Spira but if Sin dies and the Faiths wake up, any dream material will disappear.

Pretty imaginative indeed, yet confusing at first. The game links the events together but never tell the real thing.

I thought that Tidus and the city and everything were one big Aeon summoning to preserve the memories of spira...?
