Reflecting...
« on: January 20, 2006, 03:56:22 AM »
Now this may seem stupid to some of you, but I just realized how old Charas is... about 3 years? Do you guys remember when entering the new millenium was like... wow! OMG, here we go! Well, here we are, already 6 years into it! 0_0 I looked back on how long I've been here, granted, it's not as long as some, but I've spent more time here than other forums. I remember good, bad, and even boring times. So, talk about your time here, I guess that's what this is about. Post away!

I remember when I first joined Charas... I had been using the generator a LOT before I joined the forum, and I had no intention of staying for this long. XD I was just gonna check it out, but I got hooked. Ah, the memories of when Alex actually posted casually every day...  :)

Lol, Charas has been around forever. I was using the generator for a year or two before I registered. Then I registered in 03 just to advertise my game :p (which sucked). Anyway, it wasn't until a year later that I actually came on the regular basis. Then BOOM, I had 1000 posts. It was funny, I remembered having 400, then the next time I looked it was already at 900 :p.

Anyway, yeah, charas has been around for a long time.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Oy. It's also funny that in just a few months I would have been here a year. Where does the time go?

Yeah, well, I'm not here for a long time, but still, ppl here captivate me. The sympathy and the creativity of everybody is just amusing. It makes me want to simply skip all my stuff and take a look at posts here. True, I don't answer none XD Ashly I think this is the first one. But, I read most of em. And I've just not had the ideas and opportunities until now. =) Well, hope this forum keeps on for some good time.

Time does fly... I can't believe how many months ago it was that I registered. It's definitely been a good time.

I joined Charas with the sole reason of helping out with the project. And basically I still am, only in a lesser tempo.

Charas inspired my MIDI making, which turned into other things like guitar and now I'm really into music. For that I thank Charas for helping me open up music to myelf. :)

It's nice to see how charas has evolved over time.  It was and always will be an awesome place. ^_^

It's funny, I;m reading posts, and I think of someone as a new member, but when I look at their registry date, they've been here over a year! Geez, time does fly. It flies on magical wings of fastness.... or something...

How many people here remember the painfully white version of charas?  And of course the long debates of choosing the 'new charas' as well.
