Saying it...
« on: March 03, 2006, 08:14:46 PM »
Yeah, this one is kinda complicated (not for me though). Many people have a problem with this, and consider this a hardship in their lives...Sometimes it becomes a real monsters and it just goes away when you do it.

I´ve done it many times, and I learned when to do it, and when I should not, just for the sake of not spoiling everything (or making an idiot of myself). But I wanna know about other people:

How hard is it for you to say "I love you" to someone (regardless is it is a girl/boy you like, or just someone)?

I have a hard time saying it.

Especially to someone I actually have the feeling for...

It depends on the situation. Now a days though, I think alot of people say it without actually knowing how strong of a word it is. It's defintiely over used. Like people that go out for a month and say they're in love, than a week later they break up. I've done it before, but I'm more careful now.

I'm sure it's not easy for anyone in the start. Of course, when you start saying it a couple of times you get used and just say it without even thinking about it.

For me? I just wait for the right moment, which is when I still wait for the right moment. :P

Not as hard as it used to be. It's a macho thing I guess. Though when I say it, it is most likely in the way of "Like a brother" or "Like a sister". And I'll be mean to them at times when they get in trouble just because I worry, like they were an actual sibling. You see, I only have a sister in the family, never had much of an actual brother, or even brother figure at all here.

Otherwise I would hardly say it for another reason unless my brain is high on caffeine or sugar XD;

I cannot honestly say I've ever been in love love though.

OMG, it's easy. It's too easy. I tell Ace and Linkforce I love them daily.

To tell the person that you actually feel love and advocation for that you love them, however, is still easy, but most things come easily to me. It just all depends on how a person copes with their feelings.

I say "I love you" all the time, but I'm never serious about it. Like if someone gives me a slice of pizza at lunch or whatnot. Then again, when that same person gives me a +4 card in UNO, I'm like "I HATE YOU!!!!"

Though I do have a hard time saying "I love you" and actualy meaning it. I've been going out with my gf for 3-4 months now, never once did I say "I love you" or even thought about it. Truth is that I don't love anyone, and I can't lie to myself and say that I do.

True, but stupid. Usually it's jocks, and guys like that. Meh. I can't honestly say I like people like that. Relationship with no meaning is like a zebra with no stripes... or somthing, I forgot how that saying went O.o...

Edit: Oh yeah, celebrities do it too. >.< Stupid publicity stunts.

Well, I'm almost 19 and I never was able to do it. It's really hard to find the perfect moment to say such things.

No, thats not it. I do care about her, I just don't love her. Originally we were just friends, and we were going to go to a movie together. She was setting the whole thing up, and she invited a bunch of our friends as well. For some 'odd' reason, no one esle could make it, and I was stuck going just with her. During the movie without asking she leaned over on my shoulder, I was like whatever and didn't think much of it.

I took her home, said by, just before she got out of the car, she caught me off guard and kissed me, then left before I had a chance to say anything.

So anyway, a month later, things were still going on like this, so I was basically obligated to ask her out. It's complicated to explain the rest, but long story short, I'm basically just there for her right now, I know its not going to last, honestly I don't care cuz I would rather be friends, but I know it would hurt her a lot so I won't say anything right now. Later on I may devope more feelings for her, but as of now, they're just not there.
