Chipsets
« on: March 07, 2006, 07:42:22 AM »
Okay, this really isn't so much a problem, but not understanding this fully makes it a little hard to do what I want.

I was just wondering if anyone could explain, in detail, what each section of the chipsets are for/does. I am particularly interested in the A-D sections (sections based on the outline contained within the help file) of teh chipset. I have read through the help file several times, but I just don't fully understand what the sections are for, exactly.

Any help wouldbe greatly appreciated.

Thanks Prpl_Mage, it does clarify most of the set for me. But what I still don't get is, what are the tiles contained in the left section used for (other then the water, I think I understand that). Also, why is it that when I try and use a tileset that I created, it won't allow me to use the tiles on the left side?

Those are animation tiles. they repeat the tiles from the top to the bottom and back to the top.
