In accordance to the topic's main point, music is music. If people say stuff like "kill them Catholics," let them. Words are words. If those words are put into action, then there's something that needs to be done. However, songs always have underlying meanings, we know that. Whether we understand that or not is a different case. In video games, people say they will destroy God, but people never get offended by that. They just say, "Ahh, it's just a game." The same thing applies here- it's just a song.
