Well, as the Imagration goes, I think it should be stopped. Low-wage aliens are taking jobs from educated people. Though most these jobs are in the south, and (to be as non-bias as possible) most more greatly educated people are in the north then in farmer territory, it doesn't seem like it would be a HUGE deal, but IMO it is.

Despite me being from the south, I agree with you on norterners being the more educated. The southern states seem to have more higher institutes of learning, but many of the top educational institutes are in the north.

So higher educated ppl should work in McDonalds? Sweep the floors in the school cafe? Most 'higher' educated people don't want these jobs, which is why immagrants take these jobs. It's not like they can get anything else since they don't really have an education or anything. I don't really see what the big deal is with letting them in. 'Americans' or white folk, weren't the first people here. In fact, they can be considered immagrants themselves. Native americans were here before them, so if this new immagration bill was passed during that time..then what? Do you still feel they should be thrown out?

Alright, well as we were taught up here in the north..Immagrants do help the economy, they do more stuff then most americans would. Some of them even go 'past' middle waged jobs, and actually become something. Also, just talking with my friends...this will make a deeper hole between the us and other countries..just a thought.

While I believe we should stop the massive amounts of illegal immigration, I don't elieve it to be the best option. Can you honestly tell me that everyone whos unemployed in the US is willing to take a job for 3 dollars an hour? Many would say "I have no job, but thats not enough". If we kick out these immigrants, many of these jobs (notably farming) would remain empty, and that would devastate the economy.

You really can't blame Bush for this. He is simply doing what many people said they wanted him to do. No one really came up and said "NO!" in the beginning. They were to ignorant to say "Stop" but now that its in motion they decide they need to say something. It's bullt****. Its the same thing as if you see someone about to shoot a man but ignore it, then scream "DON'T!" after he's pulled the trigger. Americans, in general, are lazy. We didn't wanna get up and say "No" until we thought "Oh ****".

Oh yeah, and if he's listening so well..then why are so many soliders still in Iraq? Why are they stuck there til 2008? The year when he's out of office? Just a thought

Because he's trying to get the job done. If we were to leave now, you can't tell me they could stabalize themselves. But think, we went over to Iraq because the American populus demanded it, but now that it wasn't a "Just add water" immediate result deal, we start to whine. The US people are used to getting what they want when they want it. Fast food, 1 hour-foto, unless we get it when we say "Now" we give up.

At the moment, I do believe that there is around a 3-5% unemployment rate for ages 21-50.

Because aliens arn't in the cenus....
