This movie is the sex. I've already seen it in japanese with English subtitles, but no matter how many times I watch it, it still has the same impact. And Tifa is more proportional in the movie than in the game, thus making her much hotter than Aeris in the movie as opposed to the game.

Yeah, I hate it when that happens. I read in a computer gaming magazine that some guy is making a program where you can have virtual sex with your favorite video game players and even import them from some games. I was just like *blank stare*

But I do have to say, Tifa did look pretty good. I know if the game, I thought she looked kinda crappy, that was probably because the graphics weren't too hot.

And also... i am thinking the reason why things released in japan first is because they are made in japan? I thought this striked as obvious to some people.

ff7 anime looks interesting... and it does because is before ff7, so I went to see cloud and sephi gay sword fighting again.

DB, to clear up your question. In america her name is Areis, or whatever and in Japan her name is Areith. They tend to do this alot when translating the games to english or whatever. They change some characters names. Also, of course we know that Kijuki..but it's still unfair. Mainly the 'taking out extra fun stuff' part.

I don't think is unfair.

They made it, they have the right to do whatever they want with it.
In fact is only fair; if they would import everything the same as when they release it in Japan, there would be no, "quality" value for the things in japan,  meaning some things might devalue in japan.

It's all marketting concepts really.

Also a lot of things that are removed, are things americans don't get.

In animes dubs I watch there a lot of Japan culture thingies, that I still don't get. Usually those parts are cut out when brought to America because people will devaluate the anime if they don't know what a certain gesture meant.

That happens in a lot of games, movies, and other things.

Thats why sometimes they import the original movies, like the grudge and the ring, but usually that people tha tlook at it will find it weird, because they pretty much don't understand japanese culture all that well.

Taboos are touchy, tis why they cut sometimes.

but yeah, sometimes is not even the Japanese's people fault, but Americans because they find things they consider "wrong" and poof it.

But yeah it's all market..doings.

Well, if you think about it, they would have been better off marketing wise if they would have released both movies at the same time. As soon as the japan release of the movie came out, people started downloading the pirited version. And as you can see in this post, a number of people aren't even going to buy the movie because they have the pireted version. That idea doesn't apply to games though because they can't really be subbed or anything like that.

And they cant really do that.

The damand market in japan, is WAY bigger than in the US.

It would be unfair to THEM, to just wait until dubs and go through companies and such  for exports and imports and whatnot,  for a global release.

Cait Sith said a number of things (or at least the black imp part of him). The big white mog part never was in the movie. Anyway, I thought it was funny because Red WAS about to say things a few times earlier, but Cait Sith always ineterupted him.
