Seriously, the movie is awesome. Even if you don´t like FF7. I recommend it Mid.

Well its not like they can release it as soon as they finish it. They had to add the features, actually make all the dvds, ship them, etc.

Then again, seriously, how long does it take to do voice overs for a movie? And they did a pretty crappy job translating it, the voice overs were pretty good, but like theres some text in the begining that shows up in Japanese, how hard is it to translate that into english for the english dvd? Also, theres a thingy on the DVD that goes through the key points of FF7 with in game screenies. All that was in Japanese with large yellow subtitles that went by really fast for what the message boxes were saying. With A psx emulator, you could have remade that in english in a few days. So yeah, I was happy with the voice overs, but rather upset that they left some stuff untranslated.

Overall, its a good movie I recommend BUYING it if you want to watch it (if you can buy it where you live that is).  But come on, if you like the movie, and want squar enix to maybe make more movies, support them by not stealing their stuff. I bought it for $15, its not that much to pay.

I've been hearing talk about FF7:AC befroe I joined Charas.. That was way back. I kept telling people that the white hair guy in the trailer wasn't Seph ( i knew this because I saw a E3 poster with 2 white haired guys on it). NO one believe me, I should've made some bets but, oh well. I got my DVD, I hate the dubs but still love the movie.

Uhh... hmm... in 2003... I made one account in like feb and forgot the password but I just read stuff I never posted..

Then I made Smokey_locs2002 in December and one of my first topics was about FF7:AC and no lol I'm not a Sqauresoft insider.
I am on some PLaytation Panel thingy.. They don't even offer even membership anymore. They send you demos and ask for input and junk like that, I doubt they even read the hate mail I send to them t's been a while since I've sent some though.
They said they are going mail us demos of games that might not even come out on ps2... that was a lie found out why that's highy not possible anyways. In fact.. I think that's how I found out about AC...that or the internet. I have been to Sqaure Enix in London though. I wish to go to the one in Japan, maybe I can next summer. This Summer I'm going to the Bahamas.

I'm not surprised, the first footage of the movie came out in 2003, or at least i think the first public viewing did. There might have been a small teaser out before that with cloud riding his motorcycle, but that might have come later. Anyway, there was probably some info before the puplic showing in 03 as well.

You know..I hate how square makes everyone wait. They always release things in Japan first as a test, if it sells good there then they sell it outside..I feel cheated sometimes. ;.;

Well, they could either have Japan and us wait for them to translate it, or they could just have us wait for it while they translate it

lol, thanks. One other thing I hate is how they leave out extra stuff.. Like kingdom hearts (the other verison), there are way more secret battles and what not..but it's only sold in Japan. Even if one were to order it on ebay, it would be Japanese..which is retarded and unfair. Square is such a jack, sometimes I swear..

Well, today my family and I got the movie. I just watched it today.

It was great.

I don't mind the japanese text at the intro. The story was good enough, at least they explained it at the beginning ( never finished FFVII). The fighting scenes were great, the music was good. I loved the movie all over.

Just one thing... that giant dragon thing... was it Bahamut?

And BTW, the shadow creatures were A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

Well I don't really mind the japanese text, I know what is says from the subbed japanese version, its just that if something is sold in english, I would like the text you're supposed to read to be in english too :p

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the giant dragon thing was Bahamut. I thought he was pretty cool, I only wish they designed it to be a little more fluent. Its kinda hard to explain what I mean, so I'm not even going to try :p But I think it'd be cooler if they had a bahamut like the one from FF9.

Theres one thing thats been bothering me about the movie... If you look at a lot of trailers for the movie, they have a scene with kudja (or whatever the hell his name is) shooting these blue balls at cloud while he's on the motercycle, the motercycle flies up in the air, and then the two clash swords as it comes back down. It was in almost every trailer I saw. Then they didn't have that scene in the movie. I thought it might have been a deleted scene, but it wasn't in the deleted scenes either. Whats up with that?

Oh, one more thing, in the american version of FFVII wasn't that one girl called aeris or aries or something with an 's'. In the movie, they refer to her as aireth or arieth or whatever with a th. Am I just seeing things?

Hm... I think it came out on my birthday. I was planning on getting it but forgot about itu ntil now. About how much does it cost in the US? I might have enough. 20 bucks I'm guessing.
