I bought it today after school :) I had the japanese version already, but I figured I'd actually buy the movie to support Square-Enix, and such a movie deserved to be bought.

I was kinda pissed though, I had a feeling that a lot of stores would be sold out because it really wasn't a 'big' film, and thus most stores didn't cary a ton of copys like they would for other new movies. Then again, it was a very sought after film, so yeah, I thought stores would sell out fast.

Anyway, my plan was to go after school right away. I had to wait for a few people after school though, and they ALL took their time getting out, for example, this one girl filled up her water bottle, which was very big, in a bubbler (water fountain for those of you who don't use the term bubbler). It took 5 minutes. Then as I was walking to my car, my gf was like, "we're going to subway, want to come?" I was like "No, I really need to be going, besides I don't have any money and its cold out (we would have walked there). But then she kept on begging and begging that I went to subway with them, until I finally agreed.

So we're at subway, I ordered a small soda, the two girls ordered subs. The cash register wasn't working, so it took forever before they were able to pay. To my surprise, they ordered their food to go, this made me happy. Well, then they both decided to go to the bathroom, 10 minutes gone there. Finally, we left and walked back to school. We get to the car, and they want to eat their food, outside, on the ground in the parking lot. I didn't have any food, so I thought I'd be able to leave. Anyway, they asked if I was staying, and I was like "no, I really have to go". They didn't like it, but they finally left me leave.

The 15 minute drive to town took more like 25 minutes because of all the school busses that I got stuck behind. Anyway, I finally get to Best Buy, I walk over to the DVD section, sold out. They had Final Destination 3 (I think, otherwise it was 2), then they had a gap, and then they had the final fatnasy: the spirts within DVD. I sighed, and walked out of the store. From there I proceeded to Circuit City, which is about 1 minute away. It took me nearly 10 minutes, because EVERY SINGLE FRICKEN LIGHT WAS RED!!!! And I hate red lights so much... So I get to Circuit City, I look in the DVD section, they look like their sold out too. But upon further inspection, they had one single advent children DVD left stuck behind some other DVDs. I grabbed it, walked out of the store, proceeded home, and watched it.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Fact; I sbeen in north america since forever. Its just that the stupid people that made it are just that; stupid. And thought it was funny holding fans back.

well maybe not all of it is fact, but is what the FF7hate groups say. Seemed reasonable :D

Otherwise, my roomate should have it today, so I'll watch it for 10th time, but 1st time in english. I've only watched 10 times because my roomates dont stop playing it

I actaully never got around to watching it... But I guess now that the English version is out I might as well watch it than the Jap Version... Meh. I'll rent it if I ever feel like it. From what I'm told by Robotam, it's one of the greatest movie's he has seen... but come on! It's a Game-based. It can't be that good.

How good is it really?

It is a good movie,  but when I said it was the best I might not have been entirely conscious. And I for one am expecting a lot from the the english version. Racheal Leigh Cook as Tifa. :)

A friend of mine got it yesterday, and came over to my house. I didn't let him in, but yeah, I can see it if I want.

Are your discs NTSC, or PAL? Since you speak english, you shouldn't have a problem preordering U.S. versions of things online.  That's what I would do if I knew Japanese.

Nah, I've seen the jap version and I was kinda disappointed. I can't really tell exactly what but it lacked of something (and too few spells there were hardly any and I wouldn't expect that of a FF movie).
