Alright, I'm not sure where to put a question like this, but I thought this would be the best spot.

Anyways, I've got a bunch of maps that take place durring a rainstorm, and after a rain storm, in my game. I was just wondering, what kinda map would you rather look at for the greater part of that part of the game.

There's:
Water Type one (sorta marsh-like)
Water Type two (marsh with rain, please forgive the crappy overlay)
Water Type three (more crispe and clean water, animated as well)
Water Type four (clean water with rain)

Because all these kinda maps have huge ammounts of water in them, I just wanna know what kinda water you would wanna look at the most, with or without the rain/storm effects.

I say the top left one. I think the top right one is cooler, but when playing a game, I tend to like playing in fair weather most often. I think rain storms are cool and all, but if its something that takes shown a majority of the game, I think the top left one would be best.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

I just got an idea: What if you were to add a (very) mild fog overlay to the upper-left picture? It would look a bit more realistic, but it would still relay fair weather. That would really catch me, it would.

Yeah. Like, make it look like its cloudy overhead and may rain, but its not raining yet.

Well, at this point of time in the game the rain has already come. So, it would either have to be after the rain, or during.

I could do that thought I guess.... that's what I did before the rain came anyways.
