Poll

Would you bring a multimedia device, such as a PDA, on a field trip?

Sure. What else are you going to do on the way there?

Dorney Park

This may sound completely wierd...

but this Friday, I'm going on A SCHOOL FIELD TRIP to....

...Dorney Park?

Is it me or have teachers just given up on us? There are no papers to do, no notes to take. It's just a day at Dorney Park. What i'm wondering is would it be wise to bring a PDA (an old and valuable one) full of games and entertainment, on a field trip to Dorney Park. My PDA can do many things and even stores midis.

Would you bring a such a device on a field trip considering how much it will be worth in two years? (One hundred dollars.)

I'm heading to Belgium tomorrow for five days. I'm taking my MP3-layer  with me. I'm not taking any other expensive stuff like phone or a PDA if I had one. But you're going one day? I think you could take it with you.

Isn't the whole idea of a PDA that you're able to carry it with you anywhere? I'd definately take it with me when it's only for one day.

If there wont be any notes you need to take, just grab a mp3 player or something that plays music, pop up high volume and enjoy your day slacking off, basically thats how I survive school.

Yes, but that's from work to home. Not from one side of the state to the other.

If you're careful, there should be no problem. What's exactly the matter, you're afraid it:
 a. Breaks
 b. Gets lost
 c. Get stolen
 d. All of above... at the same time.

 Well?

Mostly A. I'm pretty clumsy. I knocked over the lamp walking into the room. -.-'

However, some punk told me he's after my favorite item. I don't know what he means, but he's on the trip as well.

Stay away form that guy.

Bring it if you want, but I wouldn't. I don't even bring my iPod to school.

P.S. What is Dorney Park...?

You're going to Dorney Park from Michigan for the day!? Um... that's odd. But anyway, I'd say if you plan to go on all the roller coasters, than probably no, unless you knew some place you could put it.

I'm not from Michigan. My location is Hell, Michigan because of Minion's wish in Twisted Metal III. He wishes to go to Hell, because it's hot. But, he gets sent to Hell, Michigan where's it's very, very cold.

Maybe you'd be better off avoiding the possibility of having it stolen.

Can't you just hang out with your friends? You know, talk about friend things. I can make that last a whole day.

Wow, I thought my old elementary school was bad. My high school's much better, though. In gr 7, they basically made us slaves of the gr 3's and below. We wern't allowed on half of the equipment, even though we did way more fundraising to build them than the little guys did.

We don't go on field trips anymore :( Last year our school had a trip to cedar point where ever that it, it was an overnight trip on a coach bus. Well anyway, some dumbass ran away while we where there, and the teacher who organized the trip had to stay there a few days until they found him.

Anyway, yeah, I'd bring that if I were you, if nothing else than for some entertainment on the bus ride. However, be sure you have some zipper pockets or something like that to keep it in, some type of case may be nice too. Whatever you do, be sure to keep it with you. I don't know what kind of place your going to, as long as its not a water park or something along those lines, you shouldn't have any problems. IF it is a water park, don't bother brining it.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN
