FFCC2 an eyecatcher? Didn't you notice the part where people got wild when they saw SMG, and aren't LoZ:TP and Red Steel eyecatchers too?

And how the hell can you predict the sales? I can't, but as it now stands the Wii WILL get sold, perhapse more than both the XBOX360 and PS3.

Everyone knows there are more Playstation fans than anything.
I feel sorry for Xbox, left in the cold in Japan.

Man Gary I could ask you the same about the games I listed. I do like Supa Smash though. It might be the only reason I get a Wii.

Dude, Solid Snake is going to appear in Super Smash Bros! How cool is that? I still think Django (from Boktai) should've been chosen first--I mean, he's more child friendly (and he doesn't smoke). Still, Snake is Snake--and Snake Rocks!

I'll probably will only be able to get the Wii--I mean, there's no way I can spend $500 on a gaming system. Besides, the Wii has all of those old games I could never play (Mach Rider, Castlevania 64, Crono Trigger) and could never finish (Majora's Mask, Paper Mario, Crono Trigger). That in itself is a reason to play it, not to mention the innovative controller.

People who don't agree with the Revolution controller--look back at when the DS was unveiled. Which sold more--PSP with Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, or the DS with Nintendogs, or Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, or Kirby: Canvas Curse, or Metroid Prime Hunters?
Then again, I could be wrong...

Another reason I prefer Nintendo's systems--they don't make an all-in-one, DVD-playing, MP3-playing, vegetable-steaming (joke!) device that also happens to play games--they sell you a  game system . And, honestly--how many people are going to buy a PS3 to watch DVDs? Or the X-Box 360 to listen to music? There's something else that can do that, and most people already have one --it's called a PC. 'Course, you can't play Halo on it, but you can play F.E.A.R. and Half Life.

They're exaggerating. The controller is more responsive than that. In other words you just have to move it a bit you don't have to take the controller and swing it across the room.

Anyway, my favorite thing from E3 is definitely the Wii and the games for the Wii. I've basically already said most of what I think in the other threads about the new stuff coming out.

As a matter of fact, you can tie it on your Wiiner, and whenever you get even the smallest log, it reacts to that.

A couple games caught my attention.  Final Fantasy XIII for example.  Super Smash Brothers Brawl was another one.  Those were the two that caught my attention mainly.

The PS3 has only two games that I want: MGS4 and Kill Zone 2. But I can easily live without Kill Zone (there's already a flood of other FPSs out there), and MGS isn't really my thing. It's still fun, though. I don't think $500 is worth spending to be able to buy two $60 games... Money is indeed an object (I DARE you to try and prove me wrong), and I just don't have that much object to throw away like that. Everyone I know thinks PS3 will flop anyway, and I feel that way, too. Sony, you can't fool me with your ever-present third-party support, their games really aren't that good in the end (except the factually good ones, of course).

Oh, by the way, the sensitivity on the Wii controllers were turned WAY down just for demonstration purposes. Otherwise, nobody would have noticed their movements from the mid-to-back of the crowds.

Guess what, Solid Snake is also going to appear in MGS4 ON the PS3? What do I prefer?

Fighting with Snake?
A Hideo Kojima game?
Super Smash?
Metal Gear Solid?
Random ****?
Great storyline?

A screw it, I'll get both.

Wii is the first step in the next direction. Nintendo had virtual boy way back when, and they're coming around to making things so that you play IN the game, not just sitting there. Where Xbox and PS3 just release the same, tired system over and over, just with new graphic capabilities, Nintendo is trying new things, and experimenting.
