Coasterkrazy sprites!

First creative arts thread, yay! :p

Ok what I basically did is made Sonic the Hedgehog into a human for... no reason I guess.

Anyway I was hoping I could get some feedback? I'm very inexperienced with spriting as you may have been able to tell by now. :p

Original Sonic sprite ripped by Domenico courtesy of themysticalforestzone.com.

I don't know... I just think that human form doesn't suit sonic.

I should have seen the 'hawk coming... But don't you think he woulda dyed it blue? Honestly, I see his human form resembling his hedgehoggy self. In otherwords: red shoes would also have been called for.

Whoa, I have some explaining to do. I kinda used the wrong words in my first post and in the file name. My goal wasn't really to "humanize" Sonic. What I was really trying to do was just make a character sprite from Sonic. I put the mohawk there for two reasons. 1. I didn't feel like finding another way to fix the strangely round head of hair, which really made it look like he was wearing a shower cap. 2. Since I'm going to be using the jump animation and such as well, I figured the mohawk could work as means for damage. :p

I thought so too. Probably because Sonic doesn't have hair so I couldn't do a direct edit. :p If you mean the whole mohawk idea, well... I already explained why I did that. ;)

Why don't you try making a charset of him? Or a girl sprite?

Charset: Eh, I don't know it's not really going to be intended for RPG use, just like Sonic.

Girl sprite: Unless in the future I make some kind of Amy equivalent, I doubt it. Sorry. Editing the rest of the sheet is going to take a while.

The hair and arms could use a little more work, even though I'm not good with sonic sprites I know some poeple who work with them.So I'm sure I can hook you up.  :vict:
