Hyperdrive
« on: July 25, 2006, 07:08:59 AM »
Hyperdrive is a fairly new British comedy sci-fi show. It feels a lot like Red Dwarf. Just seen the first episode, and I gotta say. I love the show already. Anyone heard 'bout it or seen it?

Nope...never seen/heard of it.

Actually I thought you wanted to talk about the hyperspace, the fictional space travelling mode in which you can travel really fast in the space and stuff...I myself dunno much about it, but Iīve been super curious about itīs basis and theories since Iīve played Xenosaga.

Uhh...sorry.

Well the theory is that if one could manipulate anti-matter, one could create a 'bubble' around an object. Within this bubble, you wouldn't have to follow the normal rules of travel. It'd be like going from point A to point B without traveling through all the space in between.

Thus far, we have found an element that gives off some proporties of anti-matter. What we have left to do is learn how to put it to use, learn how to make the 'bubble' and figure out a way to stop afterwards.

Back on topic, I have never heard of that show, mind telling us whats it about?

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Star Trek. Boldy going where no man has gone before.

*Flush*

They also found out that using the Casimir (or casmir?) effect, they can create a wormhole.
