Its mainly the hair on ace, I liked the old hair better.

EDIT 2: Actually, DB, I'm probably be using several of your algorithms in the new CBS to save some time. So your work isn't completely wasted, trust me.

Lol, some of those algorithms are pretty much garbage and need to be remade. The battle damage algorithm for example gives me the results that I want for the heros being at level 20 and having an attack of 50 - 100, but they're pretty much thrown off for other circumstances. So I suggest that if you do use my algorithms, you check them over and test them because they might function right.

I'm curious, what type of battle system do you plan to have then?

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Um, something more action-oriented. Like the Tales games, but with more focus on movement (ex. multiple levels in one stage, stages with moving parts, etc). That's what I'm going for, at least.

Dude, you need to quit remaking your characters. That's wasting a lot of pose art that OTHER PEOPLE went through for you. Plus, the characters look great as they are. Maybe fred could be changed so he doesn't look so RTP, but really, nothing else should be touched.

Yeah, I kinda agree with Meiscool. You'll get a lot more done if you focus on the actual game. I have that problem, I focus too much on specifics and details and end up getting nothing done in the end.

But then again, it is your game. Though I DEFINITELY liked the old Ace better, he looks too much like a 'normal' Warxe now. lol, no offense.

There was too much clash, so we decided to do a whole custom charset style for the game. I guess I'll edit Ace's hair, but pose-wise, I'm still using all poses made for him, I just had to trace them into the new charset myself. And I do see what you're saying about focusing on the game itself, but all of these are a part of game making as well. The only character that won't be change, ironically, 'is' Fred. Slimes are too hard to make. <_< I appreciate your criticism though, and don't take any offense to it. :)

Don't match eh?

What do you expect when you use Rudra charasets with RTP-style charas?

EDIT: Actually, I think i'd be pretty kickass if you could make your own Rudra styled sprites. I'd probally be harder then normal, but I've done a few before myself. They usually come out nice.

Nah, the clash occurred with the charsets, mainly. I do realize what you mean though, there is difference between chars and the chipsets, but the clash was occurring with the rudra NPCs and the main chars, so Warxe and I just decided we'd go all out custom so there's no charset clash at all. And yeah, I bet it is really hard to do that style. o.o
