The most overrated game or movie ever?

Simple: there´s no truth in this world. Every simgle fact that occurs in our world is the result of a filtering our heads make when we get in contact with that thing! There´s no right or wrong, really. There´s no good and bad: it´s all relative.

FF7, for me, is one of the best RPGs out there. Many think it is overrated. Who´s right? Who´s gonna tell us who´s right? Would this person be right anyway? Why?

They say that if one person tell you "X" and you tell her "Y" you may be right. They also say that is three people tell you "X" and you still says "Y", you´re the one who's wrong. DOes that seem right? Why can´t those three be wrong.

Arguing and discussing about things is in human nature: doing this we improve in many ways, we change minds and we make our living. But it is still pointless, since it could be all wrong.

See, you´ll read this and probably say I´m wrong. So, who´s wrong? Who´s gonna tell us who´s wrong or right? Would this person be right? Why?

Here's a fact, Zelda Sells, Final Fantasy Sells, Metal Gear Solid Sells, Halo Sells and Mario Sells.

Overated is an opinion, but by the way people are basing the saying "______ is overated." It is soley because it has a large fan base, which is caused, and contributes to large Sale numbers.

Computers sell alot, therefore they are overated.

Cars sell alot, therefore they are overated.

Charas has alot of members, therefore it is overated.

I'd hate to break the little love fest, but doesn't over rating come from people saying "THIS IS THE SINGLE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD, NO OTHER GAME IN THE EXISTENCE OF MANKIND CAN SURPASS IT" and having millions of other people agree, only for you to find out that it A) clearly ISN'T the best game in the world, and possibly B) it has quite a lot of flaws that make the game unenjoyable, or make the story terrible etc

Well put it this way, everybody knows that FF7 is overrated. Because a few million fans had orgasms at the game, promising everyone else who hadn't yet played it something uber sweet. But then they played it and were bitterly disappointed, I don't know why, maybe they are homosexuals. The point is, if everyone knows something, doesn't that make it fact?

Not to bash on you or anything, Razor, but a couple hundred years ago, everyone 'knew' the Earth was flat, yet it is a fact that is in fact roughly spherical in shape.  Knowledge is not truth if the knowledge you are given is false.  So, when people say that FF7 IS the uber-game of the universe, and everyone knows it, it's not necessarily a fact.  Besides that, that information will become outdated when a new and better uber-game is developed and released.

Actually, while on this subject, there is a forum out there that actually believe that the Earth is flat. They are called Flat Earthers.
