New Computer

Well, today I got my new computer. Itīs not really what I wanted, but what I could buy. Tell me if itīs any good:

Sempron 3000
Motherboard: ASUS K8N4
Videocard: GeForce 6500 TL 256mb Pliexpress 16x
RAM: 1 GB
HD: 80GB
DVD RECORDER LG H20N

I just got the CPU, since I couldnīt spend much more...

Only 80 GB? Oh well, I guess you can live. Personally I've used up 136GB and I don't think I can really lower that number :p

I've used up 2GB.

What are you downloading boy?

(By the way, my hardrive is 33GB, so that explains why I uninstall everything.)

Well, your RAM is sufficient. Personally, I'd rather have 1.5 gigs, but 1 gig is still plenty to run today's games. And I have an 80 gig HD and I still have about 10 gigs left, so unless you are gonna be downloading lotsa stuff, 80 should be fine. What is your processor and have you salvaged anything from your old computer?

Its not bad. A gig of ram is good enough for pretty much anything, you won't need more than 80 gbs unless you plan to download a bunch of movies or large games or stuff. processor... New computers usually have a 3500 or a 3800 processor, 3000s are kind of out dated. Right now, I'm using an Athlon 64 3000+, and it works just fine. A sempron isn't quite as good, but its not bad. Your graphics card should be good enough to play most games without a problem. It might have a bit of trouble with new games (oblivion recommends a Gforce 3800).

So yeah, your computer doesn't suck, but its nothing special, pretty much an average computer I'd say.

Be sure to get a good monitor.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Your videocard pwns mine, for now. I'ma gonna upgrade my computer once I hit 500 bucks on my bank account. Otherwise, yeah, 80gb is low. I've got 200 and 60 and the 60 one has 30gb left (I use it for installs and the likes) and the 200 one has 56gb left.

yeeeah I'm sure this has been said but I'm too lazy to read.
That number 3000 is a tad low... other than that you're good.
If you're a mad bootlegger like me you'll prolly want more than 80 gbs but your comp is good.. I'll give you 140 bucks and a copy of Pokemon Fire Red for it. (May be a rom) =D
Also.. how much did you pay for it?
