Friday The 13th - Michael? Jason? Um.. they're both the same to me, and sucked. <.<
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - That one with Jessica Biel or whatever was awsome.
Hellraiser - When I was younger, he scared the shyte outta me.. now it's like, meh whatever.
Saw - I honestly fell asleep during the first movie a couple of times, the only good parts was the gore. Part two was better, more amusing.
Dawn ('79)/('04)/Night/Day/Shaun of the Dead - Dawn was awsome, Shaun was GODLY.
Freddy vs Jason - Yes, Freddy made the movie The movie.
Child's Play - Chuckie, I love him.
The Descent - Never seen it.
House of a 1000 Corpses - I saw it, but I dun really remember it.
The Shinning - Never saw it.
The Devil's Rejects Never saw it.

I hate horror moveis, they just don't get a rise out of me (that's what porn is for!), but I'm obligated to at least pretend to enjoy Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Go Texas whatevering.

The definition of horror is to A.) Scare you and B.) to gross you out. Horror movies nowadays aren't scary and they aren't all that disgusting. Sawing a guys head in half gets boring after a while.

I do like some. FREDDY OWNS! Why? He's funny, scary, evil, he is his own horror movie. I like Chucky I guess. The original Omen is funny as a movie by itself, yet disturbingly scary if you're a Christian.

At least we now have Resident Evil 4, Dead Rising, and the soon to be awesome Resident Evil 5.

The Grudge ones look bad. Especially the whole "legend/rumor-that-gets-to-a-school-and-someone-tries-to-investigate" thing(that's what the trailer looks like to me).

I really like Saw. I don't know, but I really like puzzles and such. The excessive gore added a good atmosphere. #2 wasn't as good since it spoils the climaxes from the first and just stretches it out.
#3 is probably going to end up like the Matrix did.

 The last horror movies I saw are like RE4. Full of action, drama, cool effects, but no horror.

 Seriously, horror movies are supposed to be scary, last time I saw one it was the history of a man who walked around killing people, and we kinda knew where he was and all. You want horror? Make a movie where you can't see the assassin, from beggining to end, maybe only the the very last part, when he kills everyone. EVERYONE. No one should survive in a horror movie.
 Horror, at least for me, happens when you feel like the guy who's hiding from the culprit. You don't know where he is, you get startled at every sound, and lastly, you run, and you don't hear anyone running after you. That's because he doesn't run, he knows it's only a matter of time, he just walks slowy, following you to the place where he knows you went to, and you know there's no way to escape that fate, only to delay it, and you don't even know what is chasing you.
 Now, some movies I saw, it shows the killer, from beggining to end. You know who he is, what he does, how he kills, and you know how'll he strike to kill. It just cut's the feeling, you don't feel like you're in the movie anymore.
 It's like when you are in a great movie in the cinema, and near the climax scene, the guy in front of you decides to have a really bad cough.

 You get what I meant.

I saw The Grudge 2.

Unlike the first one, which sucked completly, this one was good.

First off, Sarah Micheal Geller dies, which is abnormal for movies.

Second, it's less "OMG let's make an uber cool plot willed with holes and expect people to like it!!" and more "Hey, we're a horror movie".

It's not scary at all, just it has a lot of cool effects and freaky ways of people disapearing. You don't even have to watch the first one to understand this one.
