Kay, gonna make this really short and sweet. In case anyone cares (Although most of us are probably thankful.) Kijuki has been banned. The same goes for his other accounts, and any future accounts he makes will be banned. Who knows, maybe one day he'll be-- erm nah. Happy posting on that account sir.

Secondly, Robotam has decided to resign from his position. Osmose has been given his position. It was discussed between two admins (Harvey & Razor), and they both agreed on it.

Why'd Kijuki get banned? :/
Kind of an overreaction in my opinion.. not that it matters.
God knows I've done things a million times worse than Kijuki has done.

Long story short, he caused one fight too many. I have enough trouble worrying about how to keep the site running and thinking of new ideas and coaching the staff. I simply don't need a constant antagonist keeping me busy. I know he'll create another account or twelve so I already sent the whole story to Alex and asked for an IP ban.

Anyway, yeah, Robotam asked to step down. He did a pretty darn good job and I still think of him as one of the most respected members around here, but such things come to pass. Osmose is finally getting his shot at modding this place directly, and after doing it for the past few months and taking a lot of "you're not the all of all mod, STFU!" comments I think he can handle it.

Well, MrMister keeps his nose out of forum business usually, and he controls himself when he feels he needs to. That's gotta count for something.

Hey Plight, maybe you missed Sai's explanation up there. Perhaps you just missed it when the almighty creator Alex posted in the previous thread.

Nice one Osmose.

I've just thought of an idea that might be an even more helpful mod tool. This one doesn't affect members nearly as much, but has one flaw.

Maybe there should be a button somewhere in the topic that all members can press. That's an SOS button. When pressed the topic goes red for mods to see whilst browsing. So if someone's posted porn or something that needs to be tended to quickly, instead of waiting for a mod to find it, a member could press the sos button and make it easier for a mod to see where a problem is.

The only flaw is that people might abuse the system and press the sos button whenever. But it's a thought :)

Somehow I doubt that should porn be posted, many members would be using their hands for clicking the SOS button. :p

Kijuki isn't blocked on my MSN and he's still on my friends list on LiveJournal, so if he ever wants to show signs of dropping his political agenda he has a way of letting us know. I'm not hopefull.

Moosetroop, in that case, just send a mod a private message about the thread. It has happened a lot in the past where a user sees a thread that has illegal material and/or is getting way out of line and I've gotten a PM about it. That seems to work well, and best of all, no weird new coding required.
