For those of you who may complain, be elitest and try to re-affirm your artistic "superiority" by scoffing about how cropping and blurring isn't art please keep in mind that I take all these photographs so shut your face and make sure you find out what other people are doing before you say that it isn't art.

Now onto the piece.


This was taken on a snowy day. I'm sure you guys are sick of art where I'm the subject. Don't worry, I have more coming that are all taken of my friends. It's the first in a series which I'm making based on urban faerie tales and legends, showing a modern picture with a very romantic (not the kind you're thinking of) atmoshpere, reminiscent of legends, myths etc.

Instead of looking down.. you coulda looked to the side. I think it would've looked better. It's nice tho.

So you mean from a model perspective then? To tell you the truth I hate the way I look from the side, cause i think my face is too flat. But thanks, and I'll keep that in mind when I start shooting other people.

Cropping/blurring... I'm assuming you used some program for that (photoshop, or something reminiscent of it). If you did, make a better focal point, I suppose.

As for the pic itself, I agree with Tiff. Looking to the side would seem better.

EDIT :: I don't recall hearing anyone say Photography wasn't an art...

What I meant was it's kind of a generic shot. I'd take one that was more unusual. Like my media teacher would give every photo of a single flower a 0. You gotta be more creative. The photography it's self is okay though.
