Maxine, my mother deals with (local) bands every week, so I know a thing or two about Heavy Metal bands. That thing (or two) is that they ALL HAVE VERY GENERIC SOUNDING NAMES. They ALL SOUND LIKE THEY'RE TRYING TOO HARD. Things like BLOODKILLER and GENOCIDE MURDERER, etc etc, they suck as names. Especially words that don't at all have any relevance to the band itself, usually verbs. Like your list before:

Reption
Derition
Desendered
Rendetion
Restionized

so my advice is to focus on the bands that are out there and try to grasp the sort of names they use.




And don't drop letters to make you look cooler. As we all know, it only makes you look dumber.

I think Warxes idea was cool. "Desgen."

Name yourself something really girly. Like, "Lipstick" or "Plushie." Or like....I dont know, just something girly. It would be cool, trust me.

Go with something simple. My bands name is Fudge Swirly. No lie. Besides, if you guys are good, people will like you no matter the name. Focus on the name of your band later, it'll probably pop up during a random conversation.

I think the name is too emo. It's trying to be dark and meaningful but just ends up making no sense.

Destrutive genesis souns emo. Like "Boohooo the begining of life was the begining of my nightmare! Kill me!" Don't try too hard, look for something powerful, yet meaningful.

Name your band CHUCK NORRIS!
