Okay, so I don't mean to sound like I'm moaning and bitchin' or anything. I'm just talking. Everyone knows there's a lot of hate and ignorance in the world. It sickens me when I read something as simple as the comments left on videos at youtube or putfile, or on MSN and the news articles. So blissfully stupid. Sure, a lot of progress has been made over the past few years, but like it or not, there's still a lot of racism and sexism in this world. I was watching this video on youtube someone posted in the stickied youtube topic, and it was interesting. It was about this kid that grew up in the ghetto and how he's seen people die and stuff. I read some of the comments and I wanted to choke some of those people! Now, I'm white and I've never lived in the ghetto, and I've been to ghettos but never really bad ones. But even I have respect for people that pull themselves out of the ghetto and become something. There's such a bias opinion about black people that they're all thugs and idolize pimps and thug/gangster life. And that if the ghettos so bad why don't they just leave. Well I'm saying how do you know it's easy for them to just get up and move or even possible. It's such bullshit, it pisses me off and I'm not even black. I guess what it ultimately boils down to is that you really can't say something until you've walked in another person's shoes.

I don't know, maybe I get a little too uptight about these things, and it's true, it's a fact of life, you just gotta deal with these things the best you can. But damn't it doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on the subject.

So yeah, there's my little rant, if anyone reads it, whoopie! If not, oh well.

I usually do ignore it, but every now and then it builds. Not only with racism and sexism and stuff. I hate when people make real crude, offensive gay jokes. Like, there's jokes you can get away because they're funny, but out right offensive, meant to hurt ya, gay slanders really get me goin'. And just so it's out there, I am straight, I just know a lot of people that are gay or lesbian and are some of the coolest people I've ever met.

I know a lot of gays who are cool people. They're open minded. Some (usually the sadistic, effeminite, whiney ones) are outright faggots.

That wasn't supposed to be funny or offensive or anything. Remember, my aunt is a lesbian, and I have another who is bisexual. You shouldn't hate on someone who is gay because they're gay. That's just sick and wrong to me.

There is nothing wrong with stereotyping, it happens. It's sort of like how there's a difference between a black man and a ******. If you're a black guy just trying to live, that's cool. It's in a lot of places in the south that you get the latter. But the stereotype is that all black folk are niggers, which isn't true. It's just the minority that are make sure that they're heard and seen a lot more than the regular folk. Which really sucks. Sucks monkey nuts.

I can't be smart because I wanted to be, I can't get good grades because I wanted them, and I've got quickness (athletic) because I'm asian. Pretty much, everyone uses that on me. It's like I never earned it on my own merit.
