HELP! So much for just a graphically challenged person like me!
« on: January 24, 2007, 10:53:13 PM »
Hello.

I made this character...
YES I KNOW IT IS IN THE RPG XP FORMAT!
All I need are just different color coats, pants, hats, and or feathers for different marching bands.
For example:
I have a character that has a blue coat, black pants, black shoes, a black hat with gold, the letter A on the coat, and a black feather.  Something that you could do is make the character have a white feather and change the letter on the coat for a different highschool and now there is a different character.  It can be all colors because I'm not using RPG mkr 2k3 for this.  Do you get the point?  Please keep it around the same size.  Thank you!
If you make a character, can you make the same character only with a hat, kind of like that french looking one?  I put an example here.
http://gcmusic.info/images/tuba1.jpg
That would be great! Anyway, if you have a boatload of extra time, you could also make a taller marcher or a shorter marcher or a bigger width wise marcher...  Also you can make a drum major.  They usually have different clothes but have the same colors.  If you want to give you character something a little more interesting, then when I post the list of shows I am going to include, you could make your drum major have an outfit that you think would work for that show!

Project:  The Island of the Bandos.  I am most likely going to make it a movie though...

ALSO:
I need instuments!  If you can I need:
  • Picollo
  • Flute
  • Clarinet
  • Alto Sax
  • Trumpet
  • Mellophone (larger bell than a trumpet, and commonly silver colored -EXAMPLE IN A POST-)
  • Baritone ( a bigger version [not very much begger] of a trumpet -EXAMPLE IN A POST-)
  • Tuba
  • Trombone
  • Mallets (like a xylaphone)
  • Snare Drums
  • Tenor Drums (-EXAMPLE IN A POST-)
  • Five bass drums (It goes smallest to largest  the biggest one will be about from the character below's knees to neck, the smallest will be a bit smaller than the characters torso)
  • 2 sets of Cymbols ( the first must be attachable to the mallets, the second are traveling.)
  • Large bass drum (about the size of a character, it is on a stand- not a very big stand either, about the size of the character below's shoes)
  • Small chimes (can be attached to the mallets)
  • 2 congos (african drums?  about the same size as eachother)
  • Gong (that big cymbol thing)
  • Keyboard (The electronic ones that people use to make midis  that kind)
Yes, marching bands do use all of these instruments (some may use all of them and others may use a few of them)

IF YOU NEED PICTURES I WILL POST THE ONES ASKED FOR

THE REASON THE CHARACTER'S LEFT AND RIGHT MOVEMENTS ARE LIKE THAT IS BECAUSE ONLY IN VERY RARE CASES IN A SHOW DO YOU EVER NOT FACE THE SIDELINE

If someone can, a football field chipset would be nice.  (Remember, they are on an island.  It is tropical.) This can be in the RPG 2k 2k3 format.  (Preferably actually)  I also need one for the stands as well, or include them with the football field.

...Anyone willing to try?

That is what we have to aim for during compitions... and some people can do that!  I am ok at it, but I'm getting better.

No they can't. You can't have your entire midsection facing one way as your legs face another. You can face your head and arms that way but not your entire upperbody.

Yes, it is unnatural and painful, but unfortunately, thats what you do in marching band.  Fortunately for me, I'm on drumline, so I just crab step instead of the point and shoot crap (as seen in his charaset).

I made a mistake while making the marcher above, here is a fixed version. I forgot that when you mirror an image the letter doesn't stay in the same spot. _sweat_
