The following articles: http://editthis.info/charas_project/1337, http://editthis.info/charas_project/N00b and http://editthis.info/charas_project/R-tard: I don't think any of these terms need a place in the Charas Wiki, or at least, they should be merged into one article. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Also, we could use some of those table templates with links to related articles. Probably one for site-based stuff (Main Site, Generators, Complete Resources), one for a list of forums, and possibly one for the Tutorials project. Anyone interested in doing those?

I believe n00bs should probally be taken out. Every forum has them, it's nothing special. The Charas wiki should generally be about charas, not generalizations of all forums.

However, I can tell that we do treat our newcomers a lot different than normal. I'm trying to get better at it, and think I've improved greatly.

I have yet to read R-tard though.

Although I think these articles need to get pwned, I'd like to see somewhere an explaination as to what a noob is, and how it's different from a newb. Not to the same level as this, but rather a "noob = this, newb = this, kthxbi" kind of thing.

Make a page about charas' general philosophy towards newcomers. You can include noobs, first post requesters, the abolishing of the first post rule and ongoing mod struggle to stop people flaming newbs who do it, etc.

I like Lesser Moose's idea. We'll create an article called "Newbies on Charas", which describes the general philosophy of Charas (as LM put it) towards new members, as well as definitions of "Newb" and "N00b".
