Knitting/Crocheting
« on: February 08, 2007, 01:54:14 AM »
Okay..I have a confession.

I joined the knitting club at school.

Yes, I am a guy.

No, I am not gay.

Right now, we are going to be knitting/crocheting toques and stuff for homeless people in our city. I don't know exactly when we start, but this will hopefully prove to be fun. So anyone else here crochet/stitch? If so, post comments and tutorials and stuff.

Have fun.

Okay...

You can knit.

Since when did knitting and a sexual preference became associated with each other? >_>.. Just because someone can knit does not make them gay..

I occasionally make repairs to my clothes but I have never put it to any recreational applications. I don't really see a problem. I thought we have overcome some of the old fashion views of gender roles.

Hell yea! Ummm uh wait....crochet? At first I was thinking you meant croquet (just checked spelling) which I had alot of fun playing when I was lil...going around hitting the ball as hard as I can while my brother did the same and the both us would watch the two collide together and make a loud noise as they richote (??? bounce)...

Dont know exactly what I was doing other than making some kind of hand puppet for Survival Management and may have been another time way back but other than that I really have'nt done anything of the sorts...

I do love getting those quilts made from my grandmother and great-grandmother!!! Keeps me warm during the snow season!

I'd probably have fun doing that if I had the patience and didnt prick myself all the time...

That's cool.

I sewed a finger puppet in sixth grade once. I found sewing to be relaxing. Too bad I really have no reason to do so...

...Hey, you know, not to sound like a sexist pig, but chicks dig guys who knit.

I tried sewing in class before, as a mothers day gift project... I ended up buying her something instead... Stupid sewing...

Needless to say, I'm never doing THAT again.

LOL! FAG!

Well, Link, I don't think you're gay just because you choose to do something that women tend to do more than men (or at least from what I know). Nothing wrong with it at all.
