If you ever have a rut again, PM or msn me. Much of my inspiration is brought about by reading webcomics, and I'll choose one for you based on how much time you have and the sort of thing you're into. Eeet wooorks

Darkfox: That sounds very right, its not the only thing though I dont think... I know I want to anything I do concerning stories and games to be as realistic as possible and an original then when I lose inspiration I usually listen to music to set the mood which almost always works,  theres been tv, but the main thing I would do is go to the games I use to play that I enjoyed when I was younger and even inspired me in the first place to try making my own game. (Cobra Mission and Knights of Xentar were'nt the best examples I admit) Guess I'm just asking too much stuff that I know that I cant handle on my own and well I end up going in circles...

Moosetroop11: Yea I'd appreciate that alot...as for time I have too much and right now any genre would do...I've read one though I cant remember what its called but it was over heaven and hell Grey something....

Desimodontidae: Which I normally would do that but after listening to what music I like I've gotten burnt out on them so yea recommend anything?

Edit: I use to read books alot but then I just stopped, rather a lack of interest or plain lazy idk, but most of my books are either teaching me ceratin things ,whether its religion, how to's, or history of some sorts, or fantasy-based

Classical. Always helps me when I'm stuck, no matter what the problem. Like writer's block, or coming up with new musics, or whatever else. And not the sad slow kind, either, the fast zesty kind.

I like reading comic books. The smallest detail on a character can inspire entire outfits for someone I'm drawing. But Idk what your situation is so. fjrhvgghdthrshrgsdfjs.

Darkfox said that he starts to run out of stuff if he's away from people too long.  The reason for that, as far as I believe, is that humans are a social species by nature.  We draw a lot of ideas externally, and whether we like it or not, we need outside forces to influence regularly.  Otherwise, we just keep thinking the same things because nothing new ever happens.

When I run out of ideas, I just leave it as it lies and come back about a week later.  That usually gives me some time to figure out what I want to do next with whatever I am doing.

Gregorian chants, Russian Christian chants, and other beautiful music. Even if you're not religious, they're very inspiring.

I'm similar as of now. I haven't produced anything except doodles with a pencil for weeks. I just kinda go with the flow.
