Er, what? I didn't type Orange District anywhere. He meant the Louis District, which I typed. I just checked through the event where you meet the mayor and he never mentions any Orange District.

That's beside the point. Where is the Louis District?  :p

I haven't finished yet and have been really busy with other stuff, but Id did promise some feedback, so here you go.

The parts I liked:

* the general positive vibe in the game. It was nice to play something that didn't involve small country villages being burned down by evil wizards.

* the modern urban atmosphere. I have no idea where you got all those resources. Most of the maps are very well done with great details like wires over the roads and spinning celing fans. Seriously, good job.

* the battle engine feel. Chisoku looks cool, and regaining fatigue is an excellent system.

* a lot of the dialogue. It's very casual, fitting, and humorous. I especially liked:
  -  "See? that clock over there just made fun of me"
  -  "creepy condescending laugh"
  -  "Well... I've been wrong before.."
  -  "I told you not to hurt me..."
  -  the entire secret elevator scene in the office

* Akira and Bluhman's characters. I liked Bluhman more. He comes off as a somewhat weird but obviouly very capable guy. Good development with him. Akira is a good "every man" character we're supposed to relate with, though he takes some weird deveopments a little light.

* Poor little three-eyed girl :(

* Joey being a mutantiphobe, though I would have left his hating *** in the lab.

* cameo candy. SAI-KARM! Does that mean you forgive my previous bad review? <_<

* dodges being possible. When there's less pressure on me to get it right or game over, it's kind of enjoyable and satisfying to pull them off.

What I'd recomend:

* some sort of city map. I saw it as an item on the list but couldn't find a way to buy it. All the city districts started getting a bit fuzzy to me after a while.

* some new faces. Akira's faceset looks absolutely nothing like his character.

* some way to buy items after uncovering the Louis district deal. I wanted to go back and buy some but Chisoku was all "I've got a mission to do" on me. I'm currently stuck in the Mao district tower, poisoned after my fight with Terrorcross, a poison that doesn't seem like it's ever going to go away.

* general in-game explinations of the systems. It took me FOREVER to figure out why I was entering battle with low fatigue - obviously I was running a lot and that was chewing it up. The fatigue use/recovery system is good by itself but it was majorly confusing to me for a long freaking time.

* some sort of mission log that tells me what my assigment is. I forgot which district I was supposed to be going to (Louis) and couldn't find a way to get a recap.

* Bluhman in battle. He can't sit in that lab all day, can he? He said he has a pistol and he's some sort of past hero. I think it would be awesome to have a two superhero party where they are partners rather than one being a sidekick.

I give the demo an 8 on the Sai-o-Meter, which is quite a good score. I'm happily looking forward to more content. Good show.

*I'll have a map. There's actually a map you can look at on the game website.

*I just can't find any good faces that all match in style. I might actually use FE faces for the characters, but unless I can get permission to use something that bears an uncanny resemblance to Ace's Avatar, then I don't think we'll be seeing any new faces for the time being.

*Most items you need can actually be obtained by searching around in the tower.

*That's why I included a readme. The readme explains all custom systems I have in the game so far.

*I'm implementing that as well. The henshin bracelet will now be able to tell you what you're supposed to do at the moment.

*Don't worry. He'll be fighting soon..

God damn.
Quality RM.
Nice :)
I love the entire feel of the game. It all melts so nicely together! Sure, traveling's a pain in the ***, but all traveling is :P The story is very original
Keep it up! I can't wait for a full release!

I don't have the time for a full review, but damm, this game is great! Nice music and graphics, great story and even some good tidbits of humour here and there.

I'm not done with the demo yet, but I am really enjoying this game. The fact it's not set in a cliche medieval setting just makes it even better. Kudos to you.

'Char4' is part of the RTP.  You might have a different translation.
Go into the game using RPG Maker, then go to the map where you go the error, or go through the entire thing, and just change the graphic for any events on maps that are filled in black.

That was a kick, please look at when the post above you was made. :)

It wasn't exactly a kick since this thread could be considered "active." Oh well.

To solve your problem, try this. Make a copy of a charaset, rename it chara4, and import it into his game. For a game this big, going through the programming sounds like a waste of time.

I'm aslo glad this was kicked, it's a pretty awesome game and it really deserves some attention. I assume Bluhman is still working on this?

Nope. Made from custom... But actually, now that I think about it, he could've actually been an inspiration...

I was referring to the Bluhman dude, by the way. Fireroy you meet during the span of the current game.
