Your project looks awesome, Bluhman. My only problem is still those cars, and I know they're basically the only modern-cars-charset out there, but heck ...they're even smaller than the people. <.<

I have an explanation. Every single car in the game is Italian!  :p

0.3 is OUT, baby.

Alpha Force Demo Ver. 0.3

Alternative Link

Additions:
-Progresses further into the story
-The base can now be accessed at any time. So far, though, it only serves one purpose, and it's to reconfigure your Traits.
-Trait system installed.
-Working map and journal.
-Bluhman now playable!
-Added some extra equipment
-Churchill District now accessable
-Changed some music around yet again.

This is the first game I used RMtool to slim down. What used to have been around 16MB has been reduced to 10 by it, getting rid of unused resources and leaving nothing but the bare bones used to play the game.

And finally, a few little screens.

Bluhman, investigating the case of a rather deadly dude.

The group fighting against a Training Tank. This part is ALMOST in the game, but I didn't put it in because I couldn't seal up the scenario the scene was depicting, and I decided I had plenty of material for you guys already.

A hint at things to come, possibly?  ;)

Sweet! Just really sweet.

But that bike seems awefully small... Is it Itallian as well?

But at least try to decrease the saturation of the cars, they kinda stick out from the road itself.

But everything looks really neat. You've really managed to make this one progress.

I have waited long for this demo. The fact that I can't download it right now distresses me greatly, but I'll have to wait until I'm on another computer.

Looks great, though. By adding charcters so slowly, you make them feel that much more valuable. I have the problem of making too many heroes for my games, I just see a cool faceset and I can't help it >.>

Welp, the reason they come so slow, is that every single time I have to make a new character, I have to make new moves, poses, charsets, facesets, and... Oy... Battlecharsets to accompany them.

But don't worry. There'll be a repertoire of at least seven characters. That much I've planned.

Ok, could somebody please tell me if my file cleanup with RMTool worked? Basically, can you still play the game? I need to make sure the game is Bug-free for the GamingW release, and unless I get some feedback, I'm not going to be able to do anything!

Sorry, man. Downloading now.

EDIT: Man, I almost forgot how awesome that game is. So far everything still works... I stopped playing because my esc and ins keys mysteriously stopped working so I couldn't exit the menu >.>

That's probably nothing to do with Alpha force, though.
