I believe only the official site. In the end he could prove to be correct, as a lot of his predictions sound in tune with what Brawl is looking to become, but I wouldn't trust him.

Not to mention it has been said that third party characters will only amount to maybe 1 more, at most 2. Bomberman is from Hudson, Frog is from Squaresoft/SquareEnix, Sonic is from Sega, and the Belmont is from Konami. Not to mention that Bomberman and the Belmont choices seem stolen from this game. I could be wrong about him, but predicting that Zelda would still be in the game is hardly any good proof. We'll have to wait until the end of the week, I guess.

PS: I can understand shifting Zelda/Sheik into two characters, but removing Sheik? She's like one of the best characters in the game, up there with Marth. She's top tier with Marth and Fox.

I agree. I am a shiek user and she's pretty handy. But with Zelda's Twilight's model there'll be some akwardness. Not saying it isnt a possibility but I would think that if she were to be in, she would be in as a separate character, rather than in transformation. (This isnt to support the guy in any way, this is rather theories on shiek)

And now with Link and Zelda in their twilight models, it's almost safe to assume that Ganondorf will be in his twilight model (SPOILER? OMG) meaning he will actually wield a sword (GANONDORF HAS A SWORD? OMG SPOILER) (since he was a C.F. clone before and clones = bad ) [again not to support  the guy but I actually came to realize this.]

Even though bad enough, Snake has already been seen with some of CF's smash moves and ZSS has already shown her Down Smash to be similar, if not identical, to shiek's down smash.

Marth is amazing, if they remove him the game will need a superstar character to take his place.

It's bogus. It's easy to list a bunch of crap and pass it off as "leaked" info. I for one believe that the only 3rd party characters are gonna be Snake and Sonic, though the WiiConnect24 adding new characters does sound intriguing.

They just need to make a fighting game with every video game character in existence. Then we'll all be happy.


Also: http://wii.ign.com/articles/798/798662p1.html. This is just speculation, but Pac-Man and an FF/DQ character seem more likely than a Belmont or Frog.

EDIT: I want to be able to fight with my Miis. If I can't, Brawl will be worthless to me.

EDIT2: In place of an FF/DQ character, why now an SMRPG character? Though the original characters from SMRPG are technically owned by Square, donating Mallow or Geno would be easier than Cloud, Black Mage or a Slime because they've already appeared in a Mario game.

Marth by far is my best character, followed by Samus  followed by shiek followed by Link.

Ice Climbers are actually pretty good if you know how to use em.

I dont think they'll remove Marth. The castle stage shown on the trailer is indeed a FIre Emblem stage. many believe it's marth's castle, I in the other hand find it very similar to the castle found in the new FE  trailer.


I prefer anyone over geno. I dont see that thing adequate for brawl at all. Also pacman and bomberman would have a really weird  moveset if one of them make it.

i dont think Sonic will be that bad. I am almost sure he's going to be in brawl. They already said it was the most popular vote when Sakurai made that "what characters you want in" poll thing. And sakurai looks out for fans a bit too much.

Both Ridley and Zant are in the game, They are NPC's in event matches

Zant is in an online event match, you and a friend team up to fight him, you have to be Link and the other person can be Zelda or even Ganon

Ridley is in a regular event match you have to fight as Samus. I believe that unlocks Zero Suit Samus but that i'm not really to sure about

Today's Dojo update was decent huh? But it was not the one I am talking about there is definatly a better one coming

"You all seem to really dislike frog, he's pretty unique and will most likely end up being a fun charcter to use. There is no rule saying it must be the main charcter of a series to get in, also it is possible Nintendo has to pay less royalitys to use Frog than Chrono.

Paper mario has a float move, he basically turns to the side and floats down like paper, good recovery move.

Before they officially announce Sonic on the 13th they will update Dojo with an item or level specific to him to tease fans

If there was to be a Belmont in SSBB then it would probably either be Juste or Simon. Thats all I really have to say, primarily due to them being characters on Nintendo consoles.

#31-40: Non-Nintendo characters added into the game MUST have appeared on a Nintendo platform. They cannot be from a manga/anime. The tentative number of non-Nintendo characters to be added after Snake is 1-2, but this can still change.

Alt costumes will for the most part just be different colors of the same thing, there will however be a few exceptions to this rule. Link for example has 2 very distinct costumes

The download will work in sets of 3 and 4, One known set is a pokemon one, that will be 3 or 4 months after the release, price is unknown, probally 4.99. 3rd party charcters will be released if it can be worked out but they would be by thereself

Yes Zelda has a Light bow, and yes it is awesom

Yes there will be more confirmed charcters before Sonic, with 1 of them being announced before this week is over.

There will be 2 or 3 less stages than charcters as some have to share such as Zelda and Ganondorf

There will be a Wind waker cell shaded style stage

There will be a pixelated Paper Mario style stage

There is a cape item in the game
