Oh ****, awesome. It seems like they actually got actors to match the roles. Although I'm wary of the Wachowski brothers. Matrix 1 was gold, but they were on acid or something for 3.

But....the big question is, will it contain the crappy non-animatic movements and fast-talking gibberish of the original.

I've never actually seen an episode of speed racer, but I have heard about it over the many years of my existance on this planet.

Watching the preview, I actually think this will be good. Some effort was obviously put into the car itself (though it is undrivable.) If as much effort goes into the movie as went into the car, I think we can expect an actually good movie out the past five years' crop of movies. (Bleggghhhh)

I didnt like the show. But i did watch it by flukes and know whats all about. But it will be interesting how they pull it off.
