I read it, but wasn't completely disappointed with it.

Yea, a bit.
Still a pretty good end to it, though :)
The movie could only be rated R if they do it right, of course.

The very last chapter wasn't great tho. It was as though someone else wrote it. Like a fanfiction or something.. and the fight with voldermort was just.. not a fight at all..

Yea, the fight with Voldemort was rather pathetic, but it was a magic duel. There only CAN be one spell, and that's it... I guess :

And I agree, the epilogue seemed a bit different from the writing style of the rest of the book, but whatever. Apparently JKR is going to write an encyclopedia about what happens with everyone after the series.

It wasn't even a spell.. it was like.. harry goes, okay the wand's not yours, come here wand.. and boom voldermort's dead. That was so ghey..

she said she might do it. Depending on how she "feels"

On a short note that is completely unrelated to Harry Potter; I want to do Midnight in the butt.

I liked that video of people spoiling Harry Potter fans at the bookstore with the Fatman car chase...   I know what happens, but I'm only sorta watch the movies, so I don't really count/care.  I could say I don't understand the feelings of HP fans.

I was dissappointed with the over-seriousness of HP fans, but we all do this. We get pissed over things that aren't important; well i suppose nothing is really important in the grand scheme of things, but yeah.

And big ups to the author for raking it  with 7 internationally selling books. That's also part of entertainment, money.

I thought the Harry Potter books were kinda boring. I could never really find the themes to them.

I enjoyed it on the whole. I read it in about a day and a half, so I took it all in. xD

*Book 7 Spoiler Warning*

Also, who else got the significance of Snape's final words?

*Spoilers over*

I really liked it, even the epilogue.  Personally I'll be looking forward to the encyclopedia thing.  And just because Voldy's death wasn't like a ninja fight doesn't mean it wasn't good.  I thought it was creative and well done because if you have noticed, Harry never killed anyone in all of the books, which is a strong symbol.
