Sins are amazing.

But no seriously.. she can't expect us to believe in something realistic when the book is based on magic. They've got house elfs for crying out loud! Dobby..! :'( I liked him... poor thing.

SPOILERS

He's dead now. Free, but dead.

END SPOILERS

Regarding spoilers Mid, you didn't even mention this thread was about Harry Potter 7 in the title or description. It's only decent to put spoiler tags everywhere.

I kind of liked the book in general, except for the ending, which was kind of... Lousy.

 Wall, this seems uncalled for.

Let me rephrase it: Who did NOT die in the book? Who should've died but didn't, I mean?

I bought the book during one of those 'parties' that borders held during the release, at midnight, and there was this one guy with a belt with a little message board that said 'TRUST SNAPE'. lol

I finished the book the next day after buying it, at 7:00-ish PM. I took a lot of breaks in-between. I think it was a very good endning to a great series. Best of all: No Harry/Draco. ^_^

Just one thing...SPOILER ALERT!!

A kid named Albus Severus Potter. WTF?!

SPOILER DONE.

There wasn't enough authentic development, I still say, on any of the Slytherins. I mean, really, ALL of them left to go with Voldy. Way to have individual thought processes, guys.
Rowling could have done so much better with Draco. He hardly even makes good fangirl bait.

Harry Potter is the same book redone 7 times with some new characters, the characters getting older, and a different twist here and there.

That's how 90% of best-selling authors work. It's called formula writing. It is the most profitable evil a writer will ever encounter. BEWARE.
Rowling picked all the lamest characters to give lame character development to. *kicks Snape* Oops. Did I do that?

The book seemed to be rushed when I read it. It held me dissapointed that it completely lacked the kind of atmosphere the other 6 books had. The ending seemed kinda lame, Voldy didn't even get to show off his skills at all. And that last chapter where they had all grown up, just plain stupid. Some of the better parts were when you found out the truth about Snape, when Mrs Weasley defeated Bellatrix, and when the house elves attacked  :D
