My mother told me she heard that in japan, some people live so high in the mountains that they're blind. And their kids are half blind. And the reason is because they're so close to the sun. I found that to be.. strange.. o.O

There isn't much superstition round here. In the past there was this "Black car" that kids would comment, apparently sometimes a kid would be seen in one of those and never again.

There was also Bloody Mary, which would appear and _______ if you ______ in ________

 Fill the blank spots for yourself. There's so many versions of this myth I don't even know which to post.

Only if you live there. If you however drive there with a nice car, and do just as little something wrong such as spit out your window, a cop can pull you over and tell you how the whole mexican constitution and past dead presidents look and frown upon you on article XV-A.2.

I missed something. Ignore previous post.
I watched a documentary about eastern thought vs. western though. It made it out like westereners are individualistic, whereas asians aren't as much, that they don't compete, but instead try and better themselves so as not to let each other down. For example, an Asian host would, instead of offering a bunch of choices, be in tune enough eith their guests to put out only what the guests would want. It sounds like a cool way to be.

Some stuff for you...

Says the legend that, if you pass a baby coral snake (a snake from here) between your finders, you'll become a great guitar player. Of course, the snake's bite will kill you in no time, that's why it's so special...

Another one says that one can enchant a black snake (another type of snake from here, that has a...kind of...bell or something in it's tail) to suck dry a mother's milk, so that her child will die. During the night the snake will enter the room, put it's tail in the child's mouth and suck the mother's milk!

The reverse enchantment will make the black snake appear to the first fukker who sent it...in the first place.

Many, many superstitions in Brazil. Mostly lore.
