The thing I've come to realize, is it's impossible to make up names that SOUND like names... that aren't actually names.

For example, the weirdest thing happened when I started writing one of my novels. The main character is the blacksmith's apprentice, and the blacksmith's name is Ferrer (which I made up randomly). One day, while bored, I put the name Ferrer into Behind the Name, which came up with a result (surprisingly to me) and Ferrer means... Blacksmith What are the chances of THAT?
