Maybe we are, but sure to hell no one else is. We didn't have to shut up for five minutes, but I was greeted by a spectacularly silly song rendition of the pledge of allegience whilst the TV screen displayed an image of the trade centers. Jesus, they just can't put it down now can they?

Though I think it's because I'm in the same state that the attack happened, but seriously, come on. It takes me about 12 goddamned hours to drive from here to New York.

I agree, there are worse things.. like new orleans or the tsunami.. but I'm not sure everyone's ready to let it go. As annoying as it is or may be to sit around and listen to people who cry over ppl they love who died... the boo hoo comment was insensitive even for my own standards. Mabbe ppl need to watch their words more carefully to avoid looking like an idiot..? Not everyone can take the humor you dish out. <<
