It's true. It's just Christmas for black folk that have Coulrophobia (fear of clowns or, in this case, Santa Claus). Srsly.

Can I paraphrase that accordingly, or could you rephrase that accordingly? You know, for quote-type-stuff.

A lot of holdiays are pretty pointless, and have no actual meaning anymore. This doesn't change that I'm 18 years old and want to go trick-or-treating so bad it HURTS (and I might if it weren't for the status of my neighborhood..... *shakes fist at heavens*)
Enjoy the turkey, guys.

A lot of holidays are just excuses for the card companies to sell cards, the candy companies to sell candy, and the postal service people to take the day off. I guess it was columbus day on monday, which I didn't even know about, after I got home from school, I went to the mailbox to pick up my paycheck, and it wasn't there cuz the mailman had the day off...

I've actually come to dislike holidays, cuz I work at a grocery store, and right before a holiday, we get swamped, and it just sucks. Then on the actual holiday where I get off of school, I'm usually stuck working instead.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Actually most Christian-based holidays are mysteriously placed over pagan holidays... hmm...

but as far as thanksgiving, lots of food... a day off...and lots of friends.
(no family... all I have is my friends lol)

sounds like fun for me ^_^
