Ever Heard of This?
« on: October 26, 2007, 08:23:10 PM »
I ended up finding this really nice book called Watership Down. Nobody I've talked to has ever heard about it, not even my Literature teacher. It's a mix between The Hobbit and a Final Fantasy game, but with rabbits. It's one of the best books I've ever read.

As it turns out, there was a movie made for it. I'm watching it right now to help study, and I admit it's a pretty awesome movie. Has anyone ever seen this thing?

What's something really nice you've found that most people have never heard of?

In my area, it's Symphony X. I'm the only person for miles that's even heard of them! As for everyone else.... Webcomics, really. I may have a problem with webcomic addiction.

Ask me a few years ago and I might've said Micronations. :P

There seems to be a shortage of Startropics fans, as well as people who have played Faxanadu, or Clash at Demonhead. And I've met like one person who's loved 5th Avenues as much as I do (Everyone else never even looks at them).

I've only seen the movie but I've heard of it so that counts for something.

Things that aren't well known?
Dunno, lol. I think I'm too close to mainstream.

My friend told me about that once a while back. Then he sent me a youtube video with scenes from it played to music once. To be honest, it looked really messed up to me... bloody rabbits and stuff.

I've heard of watership down... It's pretty well known over here. Haven't read it though.

Things that no-one's heard of? I dunno. "What's new Pussycat"? I haven't met anyone who's watched that film.

my wife got me the dvd one year
i love to kill them  rabbit's
as some of them  are mad
it's all to do on life in a way
you have your good and bad
rabbit's
the good was looking for a new life
where there can all be happy
and the bad one's made them in to a army
for killing  and to find food
they had a king and
you had to say he asked and if you did  not
do as he asked you was killed
and this is what there what your kid's to see
in the 80's madness  if you ask me
we have to life and not go on killing
for sillyness ok i kill for food only
as that the way i live and give thank's
for the life the  Animals i kill for
there life so i can eat  Animals from the land
why pay for food when you can find food
in a river or woodland if god did not like any
one to killing Animals for food then why
did he make lot's of  Animals
but geting back to the book let kid's see it
at the age of 10 as there will ask you
what the hell is going on in this book
you can say what you think
