After consulting with Ventus (Closest thing to a modding community expert for Oblivion I know), all of those can and have been solved by mods except for the clothing + armor part, which can halfway be solved by either setting the equipment you want hidden as rings (With enchantment bonuses to match the status gains from armor, although there's all sorts of effects from armor which can't be replicated with enchantments) or just going into Nifskope and merge the robe model with the armor model that you want to use, although that requires knowledge of armor.

Oh, also, as for Morrowind being larger than Cyrodiil, that's only because the fog made sure you couldn't see very far, and you ran like a sick mudcrab so you didn't get anywhere fast.

Because I'm a bastard, here's a video of Morrowind without the fog.

Just saying. :P

Holy hell, Morrowind really is a lot smaller than I remember it being.

Yeah, I've almost NEVER... Not... Used Fast travel in Oblivion. Morrowind just seems so much larger because of the aformented fog, as well as the lack of a fast travel feature.

Oblivion may have more landmass, but most of it is just dead space. Nearly everyone whos played morrowind says it seems much larger than Oblvions. Just quick looking at my maps, oblivion only has 8 cities (not counting kvatch), morrowind has around 18. Oblivions landscape is nearly all the same, forested grasslands with rivers. Morrowinds is way more diverse, you have deserts (kinda), dense forests, mountains, and mushroom thingies... Not only that, the forests in morrowind vary from place to place. There were natural boundries in morrowind as well that prevented you from just crossing the whole map in a stright line. In order to get from point A to point B, you had to go around point C and through point D, ect. There was a big discussion on this topic on  the elder scrolls source forums a little while after oblivion was released saying how morrowind was just more vast.

I own both games with all the expansions, and I play both of them a lot (currently working on oblivion). I've put more hours into morrowind than oblvion, and I've been all over oblivion many times, yet there are still places I haven't been in morrowind.

Morrowind has better atmosphere. It has variety in cultures and locales. It has a stronger main plot. It has a better magic system. It has better characters and quests. It has better expansions. A better arch-villain. Basically , everything but the melee combat and graphics were better in Morrowind.

Sure, you can download mods to add more content to oblivion, you can also download mods to make oblvion more diverse, there are even mods to make more landmasses, but if you want to discuss mods here, morrowind has more mods than oblvion, so a modded morrowind could still be bigger than a modded oblvion.

Yes, oblvion  can be modded so that it fixes flaws to be more like morrowind, but you can't say oblvion is better than morrowind since oblivion can be modded to be more like morrowind.

In short, unmodded morrowind > unmodded oblvion.
unmodded morrowind <= modded oblvion.
modded morrowind > modded oblvion.
oblvion = great game.
morrowind = great game

I'm too lazy to make a big reply, but the summary would be that I disagree. *goes back to sleep before realizing he has a class in an hour*

Ever played Digital Devil Saga? Those have the best literature I've ever seen since Xenogears. The characters are deep, the story is intriguing and heavy. It's conducted in a addictive way. Awesome games, both of them. Go for it, it's undeniable fun.

Also play the Xenosagas. Another universe full of references, theories and stuff. I'm just inlove with this kinda thing.

That's why I say: good RPG = Good story+good gameplay. Graphics are not needed at all.

Suikoden -> awesome story, awesome games.
Xenogears -> same
DDS -> same
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarters: good graphics, bad story. Bad game.

You forgot Disgaea. How could you shame your fathers like that?

Disgaea: Hilarious story, challenging gameplay.

I've also been wanting to play Digital Devil Saga for ages...but, it's hard to find....

WHAT??? Where did you see a chalange in that?? That game seemed to be in the armless-baby difficulty!

Nah Sandwich man, don't give me that watch thing! There are lots of scenes and stuff, but they're worth as hell. All three if them.

Almeidaboo: I dunno; for some reason, I always get my head handed to me on a silver platter in Disgaea...I just inherently suck at it, lol. But you can't deny that it's a funny game. ^_^

 Bailiff, please up all enemies to level BBQ please. Also, please kill all my monsters and reicarnate them as level 1 ninjas. Without armor. And set their names as "N1nj4", "Ninjew", "Ninjoe", "NinJohn Lennon", "Ninnin" or "Bob".

I've felt the same way lately, partially due to the fact that I don't have any new console systems (only a DS, but I loves it so) and partially because I spend so much time imagining what would be nice to happen.

Phayre's twisted thought process:
Oh joy! Tales of Phantasia on the GBA! Tales of Destiny remade in Japan! Logic dictates that Namco will love Phayre and bring remade ToD AND ToD 2 to America..... somehow! And Phayre will squee!

Of course, Phayre's obscure obsessions sometimes get the best of her. But I looked through my brother's magazines and saw nothing but overcomplicated, uninteresting sludge.

Well, if you like classics, they do are remaking Kirby Super Deluxe for the DS. It'll be called Kirby Ultra Deluxe, I think. I'm just sad because they aparently won't keep the classic SNES graphics.
