If you read the description on teh 2nd picture, I will be switching all RTP later, but i'm hoping i can get my hands on RMXP, so I can convert this to that.  <---no significance this is just my fav. smiley ^_^

Fire Emblem. When you don't heavily edit mugs, or only do something as simple as changing out hair color, it's not your character, it's just that games character with a different hair color and name.

I really like the look of this project. There are only three things I don't like.
-- The text is a little hard to read. I wish you could darken the text background a bit. Any free program like Gimp or Ultimate Paint should be able to do this.
-- Like everyone else says get rid of the RTP. You're too good a mapper to keep using it.
-- Get rid of the blue borders to the houses and find some that are brown. The Almighty Council screenshot is just insulting.

I'll be looking forward to this! I wouldn't recommend XP though. Too long to work with.

Except Dungeon Siege 1 AND 2 sucked, and someone will have to pay if this game follows that pattern. <>_<>

Like how the game looks, I'm a bit late for doing school so I don't have time to read the story, only to read posts and look at screenshots.  Mapping is done pretty well, only the portal thing in that last one is a bit bugged.

The graphics that are generated don't look like it at first sight, but I still suggest finding some custom done character sets.  I'd actually be happy to help with making some of the character sets.

I agree with ZK... I'm not gonna be able to look at those characters without attatching them mentally to their FE characters.

Also, it it just me or did you give Erk's faceset to a female pirate charset?? 0_o

I have never played Fire Emblem, so it is possible that I gave a guy a girls character (hee hee). As for the FE facesets and the charsets, I sterted making this game a looong time ago, before I knew how to make my own characters, and these chars seem to be perfect for how i want them to look, but I suppose shortly I will change thier looks (slightly) and then ask for a faceset from somebody with good faceset skillz here on charas. I expect I will do this in about 1-2 weeks (Thanksgiving = break )

Well, nothing wrong with the game so far. Perhaps some plain look at some charsets, but that could be fixed.
And, yeah of course: The Fe faces.
Grill is a guy(don't know if your is) and he is a wuzzy mage in FE...
Nolan is actually a girl's face, some mystic "behind the scenes" character if I remember it correctly.
And the guy who says: "What? Nolan? He is a proud member of the council" is pretty much Roy, he was in super smash as well.
Luke&Bartholemule are the knights Sain&Kent who you pretty much start with.
Xexus is an enemy mercenary(can't remember the name)
Grear is the pirate and barbarian Haxkeye.
Kraze is an archer you get early in the game who tries to protect everyone.
And that last guy on the titlescreen is Hector, Eliwoods friend and one of the main characters.
So... When I see them; I relate directly to these characters since i played the game...

But good luck otherwise, just a shame that it's RPGM2k.

I have RM2k3 and RMXP now (no relation to my all of all post... hee hee) and i'm wondering if i should switch Demon Slayers over to one of them. Only thing is, I don't know a lot about scripting, and i would need help if it is rmxp or rm2k3.

If you want to keep the battle system then go with RpgXP 'cuz I think that it uses the same thing as the standar.

And what kind of scripting would you need? Give us some features so we know what we could help you with.

As far as I can tell there isn't a major leap from 2k to 2k3... And 2k3 can easily do all the stuff you had in the game so far without scripting. You can keep the front on battles if you like them by making the characters have no battlechars, and then moving the characters to the bottom of the screen.

XP's a little different, so it's best to start a whole new game if you're moving to that.
