FF9 ending
« on: November 26, 2007, 12:14:54 PM »
Ok, heres the deal, I was playing Final Fantasy 9, and it was all good, but right after I beat the last boss and the Zidane starts running tworeds the tree, the game freezes! I tried two differant disks and it does the same thing. I know there are places out there that have all the fmvs or movies from games, I just don't know where they are. Preferably I would like to see the whole ending from where I left off, and everywhere like youtube only has the last little bit and I don't want to watch that before the other stuff unless i have to. :(

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Yeah, I beat (or rather watched my brother beat) the game a long time ago when the game first came out. So I know that I finished the game. But I want to know/see what happens now that I finshed it :(

Aw sucks, it's an awesome ending.

It's a bit odd that both disks you tried froze 0_o Can't you borrow it off your brother? Or is this the same disk?

I would have thought it was on youtube but knowing the youtubers it'll have Linkin Park or breaking benjamin playing in the background >.>

Well I'm playing it off a playstation emulator. First I used my brothers disk (cuz I have all his psx games), and it froze at the end. So then I downloaded an iso of the game, and it froze, but about two seconds later. So this might be a problem with the emulator and not the disks. But then again, if it was a problem with the emulator, then it would have froze at the same spot, and not two differant spots...

I know someone posted a site with all the movies from a lot of games. I watched one for final fantasy 8 (the intro scene) and after the actual movie, it went on for about 10 more minutes. Anyway, I was hoping that site (or another) would have the whole ending after you beat the final boss (who doesn't have anything to do with the game really).

Yeah, Necron...worst and most random FF boss ever. *sigh*

Anyway, I don't know if this will help.

Yeah, he didn't find any good at youtube...

That sucks... I loved that ending, best I've seen so far(Way-way-way better than crapscythe FFXII)
Well, I donno actually... I know I found some lost movies at IGN... But they wasn't that good since they was split into different parts(5 for the intro) so perhaps not...

That doesn't sound right. I could've sworn that I was watching a nice high quality walkthrough on IX with everything in it. The guy even made walkthroughs for all FFs 6-12. I'll try to see if I can find it.

edit: I think I found him. Look up a member named 7503. I think this one and on is the ending.
