Ah, okay. That would make sense. Well, I'm really grateful for your feedback and really glad you like it, but don't expect the full version for a few months. Sorry. :p

That's okay. By the way, I'm not your only tester. My little brother had a go XD

He started and then found it hard so he did a tutorial and right near the end got an error. I think it's just one of those things though, I did the tutorial in the first demo and I didn't get any error messages...

Hmm... That happened to a friend of mine once, but I don't remember where. Do you remember anything specific he did? I've played through it a lot and seen people play through it and these are the only two instances I know where it happened.

Oh and do you remember what it said?

Nope, I don't. Sorry XD

I'll look out for it happening again though.

New demo released!
« Reply #19 on: May 23, 2008, 10:12:07 PM »
I just finished a new demo! The update is at the end of the first post. Or if that doesn't work for some reason, here is the URL.

http://www.box.net/shared/vzxk0hhk4k

For a list of changes, see the update at the end of the first post. Sorry, but there's currently no long ratio for this version. I've had no requests for it, so it seems like it would be a waste of time. I'll make one if someone asks.

All feedback is appreciated! :)

I have no idea how this keeps happening, but once again it's too late for me to even download the thing. Soo... PM me if I don't download it at some point over the next couple of days ^^

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to say I revised it a bit. 3-2 and 3-3 were too hard, so I made them easier. The link is the same.

Yeah, I agree with Gemini. The music is really catchy and not annoying. Seriously. Simple concept, awesome game.  :D

So far so good, Coaster. I've decided to chance playing the harder version first.

One bit I loved was in the second world where you had blue, yellow and green in a continuous triple line and a bit of rock in the way. I dunno why but it feels like you've brought art into it a bit more than in the last demo.

The green caught me off guard at first but I've managed to assign four fingers to individual keys. God knows how I'm gonna manage if any more come into it >.>

Thanks! Yeah, since the beginning of world 2, I've tried to make every level have its unique "theme" of blocks if you will. I figured since world 1 was just a basic introduction of movement, colors and jumps, the following worlds would introduce trickier concepts, having one concept to a level, and then I would  be able to make use of them later on.

I think I should also mention that as far as the second boss goes, keep in mind it's all a mind game. There's nothing difficult about it if you just plan out a route.
