Hm... so this is made with RMXP?It looks like it was made with GameMaker or some programming language... It also looks VERY proffesional. Iwas never into Pokemon, but still two thumbs up :)

P.S.I cannot judge the game more than that, since I cannot actually PLAY it.

We do have a whole bunch of ideas for new pokes but I haven't found the time to sprite all of them lately.
Mostly because We realised that the boxes in the Status screen would be limited to 128x128 pixels and most of my pokes was far beyond that.
But yeah, I really should do my part of the team and start making them again.

But all of us are a bit busy at the time, we will most probably be able to progress a lot when summer times come again.

it seems your pokemon lack that certain pokemon quality. Like the one in your sig. And what I mean by quality is the why it faces, the angle of light, and typical shading styles. Depending on what generation you are heading for.I could help possibly sprite some. I've been doing it for awhile.

Ouch.

Just ouch.

And, the one in Lucas' sig is not used in the game, it's just a sig after all.

The one in his sig is used in the game. Its in the screenshots. I wasn't trying to be a dick. His sprite is good, but the light source is a little off. And a few minor things that would make it fit better.

Then by all means, please try to explain how I can improve them.
That was the first one I made for the game after all and we realized that merely 50% of all the sprites I've made is usable as the rest are far too large(64x64 limit).

And yes, Pleasent is used in the game, but not the sprite in his sig.

The problem I have with the pokemons is that they look too much like clean rip-offs from the original pokemon. Like Pleasent is basically just a green Odish with sticky leaf-ears and that blue bird is, if I'm not mistaken, just a simple edit of Staravia.

But on the other hand, I've seen what? Two pokemons? I'd suggest you show more, because all in all, I think this project looks rather interesting. Release a demo and I just might play it.

Like Option A said, I'ce only seen two. If you don't mind, could I view a few more that you have done. I would be able to judge a little better. And if you really want to know the new limit is 80 x 80 to allow for the larger pokemon and give more detail to the sprites. Of course this is for Dianmond and Pearl. I don't know which game you are aiming for.

You are actually correct, that is merely an edit of Staravia. I'm not proud of it either.
Thing is, that I tried for days to make that damned thing and Staravia had just the pose I tried to do. And most of thep okes I've made so far was to make something for the first area of the game, most sprites will be perfected later on when I've finished all of them and have the time needed.

And yes, D/P got a limit of 80x80 but the menu we uses got the boxes made for 64x64 sprites. Kinda hard to edit it at the moment. Won't do that much of a difference though since most of mine exceeds 100.

...Very Ouch.

=/  Please... don't call Lucas's Pleasent an oddish.  Its his pride and joy.  Hopefully, you have different opinions after our demo is released. ^^

What do you mean exceeds 100 pixels? Your sprites? That would be quite large.
And like I said I wasn't sure what generation you were aiming for so i was not aware of what limits you are being put under.
Angain I'm oen to help. I haven't done any spriet work in a month or so. If you wish I can shpw you some?
