I hoped to avoid giving such a news.
Unfortunatly, i have to.

I received reports about the resources needed for all our system (forum, complete resources and generator). In one word... they're simply too high.
The server farm we are in now can no longer support such a pressure.

The bad news is there is not another server ready for us in the short times, and i received from farm admins this notification:

"[...] So we are sorry to inform you that within tomorrow night, April 1st, all the files and databases related to the charas-project.net domain will be totally removed from our servers"

So tomorrow nite, our server space will be... deleted.

Damn! to make it simple, without any warning tomorrow Charas will simply close... and probably forever.

I would just ask to clever users to AVOID obvious comments to this news.
Let's spend better our time.

I would like to thank everyone who helped, in any form, to turn all of this into something real.

Dunno what else to say, try to enjoy our last day at your best...

yeah, no its totally true. I frequent(ed) another forum that just got the axe because of this.
Businesses dont celebrate april fools. As nice as it would be to think.

Well, with any luck, we can try to msn something up and figure out a solution to the sad death of charas.

Everyone, download as much of the sweet *** resouces now, and probably a copy of charas.ex would benifit as well.

I wrote that because "april fool" was exactly what i was afraid to read here.
Honestly, i was thinking the very same thing when i received the email.
But when i received it in both email and fax form, it didn't sound too... foolish
