Mayor of Charas

We've yet to decide term durations, but we might as well announce it. In order to better understand what people want (As opposed to me just sitting around performing little code tweaks and Razor being a bad enough dude to save the president) we've decided to create a new position, the Mayor of Charas.

Depending on term limits, the Mayor of Charas will be elected every so often and will be able to access the private forum and discuss site changes and policies and such. They'll be responsible for various things, and if nothing else we'll give them annoying tasks just to keep them busy.

Of course, since they're elected, there have to be campaigns, which are part of the fun. Again, the election process has yet to be fully worked out, but if you're thinking about running, nows as good a time as any to begin the advertising.

I'll post here again once we figure out rules and a date.

Meh, I'll just sit back and watch.  Being mayor of Charas sounds boring, and I am proud of my position among the slightly-more-noticable-people-but-still-qualified-as-the-little-people.

The awesome and fun thing about this is that the elections would take place on a routine basis. The Mayor wouldnt neccesarily STAY mayor... Its like an elected semi-mod position that would rotate so we (staff) can get some organized input (rather than a thread full of a million 'you guys should's)

Details on the finer points are being hashed out right now in the private forum...and Im sure we will manage to throw a twist into the process every so often to keep things fun and interesting.
