This RPG is more of an Open RPG. Although there is a loose story to follow the world is fairly open.  You may be free to adventure to most places right off the bat, but your Party will not be able to handle the Threats there.

Before the game even starts you are forced to Pick Your Team. All 4 slots must be filled. Your First Hero choice is your Main Hero, Second is your Melee Hero, Third is your Caster Hero, and lastly is your Support Hero.

Although there is the option of a Heroic Mode Where you Start the game with only one Hero with 40000 Extra experience (3-4 levels) [Currently NOT implemented]

Main Heroes:

Demon of Pwn – A man that was once human, but became so obsessed with power that he corrupted himself for it. After being betrayed by a Demon and killing his own brother, Pwn dedicated his existence to slaying any Demon… Saving himself for last. Because Pwn is a Demon he has much higher stats than most characters. Although Demons are unable to use ANY healing Magic. Can pretty much use any Weapons/armor.

Cloud Strife – Famous Character from FF7. He can equip Materia to boost his powers. A Good Caster and the only hero who can use Buster Swords. (duh!) Can only use swords and wears Leather armor.

Holy Crusader – A Powerful Heavenly Soldier. He fights with the Power of Good. Can use Shields, 1handed weapons and 2handed weapons. A good Melee fighter, Healer and Support Hero all rolled into one. Can use Heavier Armors.

Link – The Famous swordsman himself from the Zelda Series. He is the only Hero who uses shields. Has Decent Casting abilities. Gets Secret bonus’s from Fairys. Uses Swords, Shields and Leather armor.

The Summoner – Although she has low hp and defence, she can learn any spell in the game. She also can learn a PLETHRA of Summoning spells. She can also Read any Language in the World. Can only use Cloth armor.

Bard – This Traveling Bard has seen and heard many things on his Travels. Knows many songs for many different occasions.

Brogan – A Human Warrior. Can use any weapon and Any armor. A Very good all around Melee Hero. Little to no casting ability.


Melee Heroes:

Fighter – A  Durable Hero that can use most weapons and armor. Low Casting ability.

DPS Ninja – An extremely Fast Hero. Can only most weapons and only Leather armor. Gets some nice Crowd Control Abilities.

Robot – A slow but Durable Hero. Can only wear Custom made armor and has limited Weapon selection. But can Use Engineering Items/Machines.

Rogue – The Rogue isn’t the toughest but he is fairly fast and does good damage. Can use most weapons and leather armors. One of the Only heroes who can Pick Locks.

Barbarian– A Durable Hero. One of the only Heroes who can use Two-handed Weapons. Gets a lot of Group affect Shouts.

Cacodemon – A Powerful Demon. Has Decent Casting ability and can only use Fist weapons and Demonic Weapons. Can ONLY be chosen if Demon of Pwn is Your Main Hero. CANNOT use heal spells.


Caster Heroes:

Frog – The Legenary Swordsman from Chrono trigger. Has excellent speed and casting ability. Can wear Leather and only use swords or Casting Staffs/Wands.

Necromancer – Has Deadly Magic spells but can only learn low level healing spells. Uses Cloth armor.

Magus – From Chrono Trigger. Has powerful Casting abilities and Decent melee ability. Can wear leather armor.

Black Mage – The Final Fantasy Black Mage. Has the MOST mana of any hero in the game. Also can learn most spells but at higher levels than most casters. Can only use Cloth armor, but can also use Materia.  Can ONLY be picked if Cloud is your Main Hero. Also takes Less experience to level up.

Librarian – A frail Hero but has Powerful Casting ability and Lots of Mana. Can use cloth armor and can equip Books. Also takes Less experience to level up.

Angelis – A powerful Warrior Priest from Heaven. Higher Stats than most Heroes and can use most weapons and armor. Can only be Chosen if Demon of Pwn IS NOT your Main Hero.

Doppledemon – A slower but Strong Demon. Weak Casting ability but can use 2 handed weapons, Fist weapons and Demonic Weapons. Can use most armor. Can ONLY be chosen if Demon of Pwn is your Main Hero. CANNOT use heal spells.


Support Heroes:

Paladin – A Heavily Armored Defender with Good Healing Magic and combat Ability. Excellent Support Hero.

Archer – An extremely Fast Hero. He can use Leather armor and also equip Special Quivers and Special Arrows. Also has Decent Casting abilities.

Dragon – When you choose the dragon you then get to pick what type: Red, blue, Green or Bronze. The Dragon is a Very tough and powerful Hero. A very Powerful Caster that naturally Learns almost every Spell of his element. Can only wear custom Made armors and uses Fist Weapons and claws.

The Goblin – Not the toughest of Fighters, but very Cunning. Can make explosives and custom items for himself. Has solid Casting abilities and Decent Melee abilities. Can also Use Engineering Items/Machines.

Bat Demon – Solid Casting Abilities, Decent melee abilities. Fairly Fast but weaker than any of the other Demons. Can only use Fist weapons and Demonic Weapons and some Caster items. Can wear most armors. Can ONLY be chosen if Demon of Pwn is your Main hero. CANNOT use heal spells.








Story:

500 years ago The Great Demon Lord Broke open a Demon portal to Earth.  He and his many minions poured into the lands and slaughtered many innocents.

The Lords of Time who watch over the world and the Flow of time summoned 4 powerful Heroes to fight the Demon Lord and his Minions. It was a tough battle but the heroes with the help of the Time Lords managed to quell the beast and send it back to the Demon Underworld, although 3 of the Summoned Heroes were slain in battle. The one remaining Hero became a Lord of Time to watch over these lands, His name was Tymus.

Exactly 500 years after the Demon lord was defeated, darkness has been growing throughout the Land. Tymus has noticed this increased demon activity and Knows what’s coming. Tymus and the other Lords of Time Gather there powers and summon 4 new Heroes to help Save The World from the Growing Threat. -=Game Starts=-

Upon landing in the world Tymus communicates telepathically with you telling you where he is.  When the Heroes Find Tymus He informs you of the Growing Threats in the Land, Mainly the Growing Undead Threat and the Nearby Blue Nation. The Blue Nation is a Race of Humans that were once friendly but now have a much darker Demeanor.  During this conversation an enemy Appears who insults the new Heroes. Tymus instantly recognizes the Foe. Its Dylon of the Dark Council.

The Dark Council is a group of very Powerful Dark Magi. They are the ones responsible for summoning the Demon lord and helping to open the Demon Portals. Seeing one of the Council here, on earth, instantly Informs Tymus what’s happening.  They are trying to Resurrect the Demon lord!!

After a Quick Magic attack Tymus injures Dylon forcing him to flee. It’s time to start cleaning up this land of all the Evil. Tymus then tells you to clear out the Undead Threat or what ever is making the Undead Thrive.  Tymus then Heads to Times End.

Times End is where all Strands of time intersect.  It is a safe haven for all Heroes of Time, including past and Present and Future.

After fighting Deep enough into the Graveyard you stumble upon a Necromancer Stone.  This stone boosts the Controlling power of a Necromancer allowing him to support a much larger minion Army.  Before entering the Grave Crypts Dylon appears and attacks the Heroes.  At this point in the game he completely obliterates your Team.  After the defeat he laughs and leaves claiming the Undead will finish you off.  After killing the Necromancers, the Necromancer Stone dies and releases almost all of the Undead. The Final Undead also Gives you a key that allows access to the Bone Crypts, which is a Grinding zone with Powerful Monsters.

With the Undead Threat Stomped you return to Tymus who rewards you.  He then informs you of a Meeting going on in the Counselors Room.  An important meeting between the more powerful Beings in the Land.  After some debate about how to deal with the Now Evil Blue Nation another Secret is uncovered.  The Phoenix Nation, The Largest organized civilization in the Land has also been tainted.  The Dark Council has convinced the Phoenix Lords to fight for the Demon lord. Promised with Power and wealth even their powerful nation could not comprehend.  You also learn the Phoenix Nation is allied with the Blue nation.  Suddenly, a dark flash of smoke explodes in the room. Several Dark Figures appear.  You recognize Dylon from the Dark Counsel as well as two new Cloaked figures. Tymus Demands they leave Times end Immediately and never return. After refusing to leave, Benithous, Whose Led the Time Guard for almost 1000 years attacks one if the Phoenix lords. Several Time Guard Soldiers charge in and engage the Phoenix Lords. Tymus and the other Time Lords start blasting the Dark Counsel with Magic. After several minutes of combat, the Dark counsel with the Phoenix Lords open a Portal and Flee.  During the Fight Several Time guards were slain as well as Mr. Hour, one of the Time Lords, was injured in the Combat. After this calm down from the attack, Tymus asks you to assassinate the Blue Nations King.  Leaderless The Blue Nation will no longer be a Threat.

An army of soliders heavily protects the Blue Nations Main gate.  The Heroes remember talking to someone who informed them of a Secret entrance in the Nearby Forest. After some searching you find a Time guard. He shows you the secret entrance. The Secret entrance brings you inside right near the Kings Throne room. Upon confronting the Blue Nations king, he informs you of the Special Training he’s gotten from one of the Phoenix Lords. After a tough fight you Slay the King. Suddenly a Puff of Smoke fills the Room. Dylon Appears: “How can this be?”  Dylon is so infuriated by the fact you killed the Blue Nations king and thwarted his Plans. Dylon attacks you once again, but this time you must win against him.  Heroes: “Were a lot stronger than the last time we fought Dylon. Prepare to Meet your Match.”  After defeating Dylon he begs for his life, But You Chop off his head and end it.  Dark Smoke and evil looking spirits flow out of his bloody neck, but soon dissipate while his body burns up in black flames.

Upon returning to Tymus you inform him the Blue nations King is Slain as well as Dylon is Slain. Tymus can hardly believe you defeated Dylon! He rewards you for feat of Power.

With the undead defeated, the Blue Nation Leaderless and having a Dark Counsel member slain its time to focus on the Demons.  There are 3 Demon Portals starting to be opened as we speak. One in the nearby Forest.  Another in a Cave in the Phoenix Hills to the West. The last Portal is in The Flame Skar far to the East.

When you find the First Portal you notice its still very small but there are Demon Mages working it open.  The Heroes Slay the Mages and Destroy the Portal.

When you find the Second Portal, there are some stronger Demons defending the Mages. After taking out them and the Mages you close the portal.

The Last portal is deep within an Inferno Tooth Clan Cave. The Inferno-Tooths are a nasty band of Inferno Orcs. After fighting your way to the Portal and slaying the Demon guards and the Demon Mages you Close the portal and return to Tymus for your reward.

Tymus has detected more Demon Activity! He needs you to goto Flamespire Mountain in the Flame Skar and find and kill the Demons there.  As far as Tymus can tell they are either trying to harness the Volcano Power or use it as a weapon.

After fighting Deep into Flamespire Mountain you find a Fully opened Demon Portal. Several Demons are passing into the world proving its functionality.  Tymus talks to you with Telepathy saying that this portal is not closable. He suggests you charge through into the Demon world and Find the Dark Counsel and stop them.

The powerful heat as you enter the portal hits you like a wall.  Its much harder to move let alone Fight in this World. Its very Fiery and hot here. There is a lot of Lava and Jagged Rocks everywhere.  

Tymus speaks up again. Apparently To get into the Demon Lords Fortress you will need to destroy 5 demonic Runes.  The Runes all store Demonic Energy Powering the Demonic lords revival as well as Locking the Main Door.

Each rune is guarded by a Greater Demon and many Normal and Lesser demons. After dealing with the demons and destroying the Rune, a Powerful Rune Demon is Summoned.

Each rune is deeper and deeper into the Demon world. Heroes will fight many powerful and unique demons along the way.  Also The Rune Demons are much stronger than even the Greater Demons you fought.

When you get to the Last rune, you can spot the Magically Sealed Gate ahead.  The Demon Lords Fortress is Close.  After destroying the last Rune the magical Seal on the Door explodes in a bright Red light.

After opening the door the Heroes are Swarmed by many powerful Demons all trying to stop you from getting to there master.  After swathing through the Crowds of Demons you find the Dark counsel.  They are still summoning The Demon lord! This is perfect the Heroes think, we can end this now!

Skarlon blocks your way, one of the Last Dark Counsel.  He must die! After an intense battle the Heroes defeat Skarlon and turn there focus towards The Grand Master of the Dark Counsel.

All of a sudden the Earth starts to shake.  The Fortress starts to crumble, and you notice something you thought would never happen.  A Large fiery hole in the ground starts to open.  The Demon lord has been revived Again! The Heroes attack The Grand Master of the Dark counsel wounding him.  The Demon lord stands up stretching.  The Demon lord towers over the Heroes like a Giant.  The Grand Master of the Dark Counsel opens a Portal for the Demon lord, which he Enters.  The Grand Master turns and faces you with a Grin.  The Heroes engage the Grand master in an Apocalyptic Battle but eventually the Grand Master Falls. Enough is enough, think the Heroes who Slay the Grand Master and end his 1000 year Reign Chaos.

The Heroes try to portal back to Times end, but are unable to use their portals in the Demon lands.  The Heroes start heading back to the Demon Portal Entrance.  Along the way back Tymus speaks through telepathy.  “Help heroes The Demon Lord is at Times end! We cant hold him back much longer!”
After Hearing this the Heroes run as fast as they can back to there world.  They jump through the Demon gate and instantly portal back to Times end.

   The Heroes land in times end just long enough to find Tymus and Benithous fighting the Demon Lord.  The Heroes help them by attacking him also.  You Notice Segmond Slain on the Ground, a new level of Anger fuels your Attacks.  After some intense battling the Demon lord smashes all of you away.  The Demon Lord turns his gaze to Mr. Hour whos casting some nasty lightning spells at him.  With one swift Stab of his Demon Blade, Mr. Hour gets impaled and then tossed aside like Yesterdays Garbage.  Benithous and Thalithous both fill with rage and rush the Demon lord.  The Heroes are stumbling back to there feet in hopes of helping them. By the time the Heroes get there Benithous suffers a Nasty Slash Severing his Arm.  With a powerful Yell Thalithous Lunges at the Demon plunging his Spear into the Demons Neck.  The Demon Lord Lets out a huge roar and snaps the Spear out of his Neck then Backhands Thalithous sending him flying into a Statue. The Heroes continue to attack the beast who seems barely phased by your best attacks.  After some intense combat your Heroes are drained of there energy and still unable to defeat The Demon Lord. Tymus continues to blast the Demon lord with his most powerful magic spells, but the Demon lord just walks up and Slashes Tymus sending him flying into a wall.  The Demon lord Chuckles! “Finally! Revenge for 500 years of Torment Tymus. Your world shall burn!”  “NEVER!!” yells Tymus who blasts the Lord in the face. The Demon lord takes a Step back while grabbing his face.  “NOW HEROES!!” Tymus opens a Time Portal behind the Demon.  The Heroes give everything they have and knock the Demon back into the portal.  The Demon lord fights and struggles but gets sucked into the Portal.

   “I’m dieing heroes, and that portal took my last power.  I opened a time portal back 500 years ago when the Demon Lord was first Defeated! You must quickly go through the Portal and Kill him.” Says Tymus while coughing up blood. “Help the Time Lords of Old. I’m sure you can do it….” Tymus dies with one last breathe.

   The Heroes jump into the Time Portal and hope for the Best.
“Im going to too father.” Says Thalithous. “I will return a Hero.”
With that Thalithous Jumps through the Portal.
“noo… Son… why…” Benithous shakes his head. “God Speed son…”


Part 4:

   The Heroes first sight upon landing is a Large Army of Time Guards. They have amassed their entire force at this one spot.  In the distance you can spot a large Red Demon Portal.  Below the portal you can see an Army of Demons. The heroes meet up with a Much younger Benithous and Tymus as well as the Time Heroes of Old.  You explain to Past Tymus what has happened.
 “Your saying there is more than one Demon Lord here?!” exclaims Tymus! The Heroes just nod, confirming his Fear. “Then this must end now Heroes! Prepare your troops Benithous we attack now!”
Thalithous lands on the ground.
“Who is this boy?!” Benithous Says as he draws his Weapon.
“Ha! You look so young Father.” Replies Thalithous “I am your son from the future, I have come to help all Time in this Dire Hour.”
“Brave and stupid… just like your Father” chuckles Benithous. “Let me guess… your name is Thalithous.”
“How did you know father?” questions Thalithous.
“Its just what I always planned to name my Child. But enough sappy Talk crap, we got a War to win”
“Right..” says Thalithous as he draws his weapon.
“Charge!!” Yells Tymus as you all rush the Demon Hordes.

   The two Armies clash in an apocalyptic Battle. During the Slaughter-fest The Future Demon Lord flies down from the sky and begins wreaking havoc on the Time Guards. “Take down the Demon Lord” Yells Tymus. Moments later the Heroes notice a big monstrous creature coming through the Demon Portal.
“It’s the Demon Lord from our time!” exclaims Tymus “This is it boys! Give it all you got!”
The Battle Rages on for a while but it becomes very clear that you are fighting a losing battle. With the Demon army outnumbering the Time guard by two to one and Both Demon Lords Shrugging off your Best attacks, Things aren’t looking good. One of the Past Time Heroes, Lina Feather was her name, speaks up.
“I know how to kill the Demon Lord Tymus.”  Tymus’s eyes Widen.
“I am a warrior of Heaven gifted with A Magical Bow of Light.  I have been taught how to make an Ultimate Light Arrow… that should be enough to Mortally Wound the Demon Lord.”
“It almost sounds to easy!” Tymus chuckles.
“If only it was that easy Tymus…” Lina Bows her head, and then glances to the Sky. “The Ultimate Light arrow needs to be made with a Soul… a Soul of a Pure Hearted Person…”
“I will do it!!” Shouts Your Hero.
“NO…. I will do it…” Replies Lina quickly. “This is my purpose. My light will slice through the Darkness.”
“Do what you must Lina… I have faith.” Says Tymus quietly.
“Fair well friends… and Good luck” And with that Lina focus’s here entire being into a single golden Arrow. She Loads her bow and Pulls it back.
“May the gods Guide my Arrow to Victory…” She releases the String sending the Blazing Bolt of Light hurtling towards the Demon Lord. As the arrow flies away the Light shining around Lina starts to fade as she slowly collapses to the ground Lifeless. The arrow Flies past the war zone at ridiculous Speeds. Tymus Smiles as he sees the Arrow heading straight for the Demon Lord. Benithous Stops slaughtering Demons and looks up to See the Blazing Arrow Fly over his Head.
“God Speed…” he whispers to himself.
The arrow flies Straight into the Past Demon Lords Chest. The Arrow Peirces his Flesh ripping a giant hole in his Torso. Fiery Blood Spews from the Wound as the Past Demon Lord lets out a Giant roar.  The roar shatters the earth and sends creatures near the Demon Lord flying in all directions.  He falls to one knee grabbing the wound and oozing Fiery Blood from His Mouth.
“You will… pay for this… You meddling Fools… You will all die!!” The Past Demon Lord Bellows. He coughs up more Fiery Blood after wards. The Future Demon Lord flies over to the Past Demon Lord.
“Its weird seeing the Past relive itself… but this time… im prepared” Cackles the Future Demon Lord.
He grabs the Past Demon lord by the Shoulders, gripping him so hard his fingers rips through his Flesh.
“This time Tymus… You will not win This day…” He starts absorbing the Past Demon Lord into himself.
“Noooo!! Stop him!!” Yells Tymus.
“Its too late Tymus… “ The Demon Lord Chuckles as he Finishes Absorbing the Past Demon Lord.  All Combat ceases, while everyone’s attention is drawn to the Demon Lord.  Large Spikes Burst from His skin as his size grows much larger.  After a Bright red flash the Demon Lord has finished his Transformation.
“Bwahaha… I have become Ultimate!!” Laughs the Demon Lord. “Not even you, Tymus, can stop me now!”
“That’s what you think Beast!!” Tymus yells as he unleashes some Lightining Bolts that Crash right into the Demon Lord. The attack doesn’t even phase him.
“I told you Tymus… All hope is lost!” The Demon Lord Swings his Big Demon Blade and slaughters a whole group of Time guards and Demons. Laughing the Demon Lord Breathes a fiery Blast at Tymus who Avoids it at the Last Second.  The Ground Explodes as the Blast hits sending Debris Everywhere.
“This is hopeless…” Tymus drops his Staff. “This wasn’t supposed to happen…”
“Tymus you cant give up!!” Yells your Hero. “There is no Fate! The Future is what you make it Tymus!”
A voice Echoes through in the Heroes Heads.  “Heroes…. This is Father Time. I may have a idea how to stop the Demon Lord, but it is a Dangerous chance.”
“What is it… we are willing to try anything” Reply the Heroes.
“Who are you talking to?” Asks Tymus.
“Father Time… Can you not hear him Tymus?” Question the Heroes.
“What? You can hear him? Only the most Powerful of Time Lords can Hear Father Times Voice.”
“That doesn’t matter now Heroes. Listen carefully. I can open a portal to a Void space in Time and we can try to Trap him.  The difficult part is going to be knocking him into the Portal because we already tried this Trick on him once.” Explains Father Time.
“I understand Father Time… I know what todo… Open up that Portal.” The Heroes Ready themselves. “Tymus, Benithous and the Rest of you Time Guard… Stand back. We will end this now”
A Large Purple Portal starts to take shape on the Battle Field.
“Hahaha… whats this Tymus? Another Push him into the Portal Trick?” The Demon Lord has himself a Great laugh.
The Heroes Charge the Demon Lord. “Its time to Taste Defeat Demon!!”
“Bring it!” replies the Demon Lord. “I have become Much Stronger than you could even Fathom.”
The Heroes engage the Demon Lord in a Desperate Struggle.  The Heroes actually manage to fight Toe to Toe with the Demon Lord for a while.  Each successful attack against the Demon Lord seems to make the heroes glow brighter and brighter.  The Demon Lord Smashes two of the Heroes away and raises his Enormouse Blade into the Air readying a Deadly Slash.
“Father!! He is going to kill them! We must help!” Yells Thalithous as he Rushes to help.
“No!! son its too Dangerous!” Yells Benithous. “Damn boy get back here!”
The Demon Lord swings his blade towards one of the stunned Heroes but Thalithous Flies in and Deflects his deadly attack. The demons Blade crashes into the ground.
“Meddling Pest!”  The Demon Grabs Thalithous with his Giant spiked Hand and crushes him fiercely, breaking bones. Flames envelope The Demons hand burning Thalithous.  The Demon then tosses Thalithous’s Corpse to the Ground and focus’s back on the Heroes.
“Nnnnoooo!!! You bastard!!” Benithous Grabs his Weapon ready to attack.
“Benithous stop! You must survive this or Thalithous will never exist.” Says Tymus trying to stop Benithous. Benithous growls in anger at the Situation.
Your hero Strikes the Demon Lord squarely in the chest. The Demon takes a step back from the impact.
“That’s for Thalithous you Beast” Your words inspire you even more.
The Demon Swings his large blade, but misses as you jump high into the Air. Thoughts of Segmond and how he was killed invade your mind granting a new Power to your attacks. You come falling down from the air and strike the Demon lord with such a thunderous force he stumbles backwards to the ground. Fiery Blood flows from the Fresh Wound.
“You will pay for that worm!” Says the Demon as he scrambles back to his Feet.
“He’s doing it!” Exclaims Tymus.
The Demon Lord Breathes a Blast of Fiery Death at Your Hero.  Your hero Grins and stands his ground.  The Blast smokes you dead on causing a huge fiery explosion.
“O no!” exclaims Tymus!
“Its over Tymus… we have lost…” adds Benithous.
“Bwahahha… Now its Time to Die Tymus!” The Demon Lord laughs.
The smoke starts to clear from the Explosion.
“What… what’s that?!” Tymus Points.
Your hero is standing there glowing a bright Yellow.
“I don’t believe it. He’s become a Time Lord!”
“Impossible I Obliterated you!!” Says the Demon Lord Flabbergasted.
Your Hero rushes the Demon Lord who swings his sword as you approach but you Block it with your hand shattering its Blade then you counter-attack the Demon stabbing him right in the Gut. The Demon Lord lets out another Powerful Roar.
“This is for Lina!” you yell as you slash the Demon again. Fiery blood Flows forth pouring all over you but you barely even notice the heat.
“How can this be?!” Questions the Demon Lord
“Good will always triumph over Evil, Light will always extinguish Darkness!” you answer.  Thoughts of Mr. Hours death fill your mind, enhancing your rage to an even higher level.  The bright Yellow glow around you starts to turn a Redish color. You barrage the Demon lord with many attacks forcing him backwards towards the Portal.
“If I’m going in the portal so are you!”
“Then lets speed things up shall we Demon?” You say as you tackle the demon pushing him back into the Portal.
“Nooo!! Fool, I will torment you forever where ever we go!”
The two fall into the portal and are Teleported to a Void in Time and Space, forever are stuck There. The two intensely battle for 15 Days Before your Hero manages to Slay The Demon Lord and end his 1000 year Reign of Terror. The Demons body melts in a bright fiery Molten Mess.  Bloody, Tired and energy less your hero floats in the Void for Days. After about a week a Bright light randomly Shines in the Distance. Your hero notices it and slowly Floats towards it still drained of Energy. As you approach the Light it grows extremely bright and almost consumes you. All you see is the Brightness.  You close your eyes and slowly Drift off to Sleep.
“There he is… I found him… Don’t worry Hero… Were going Home…” A voice Quietly Echoes.

IMPORTANT CHARACTERS

Time Guardians

Tymus – Tymus was a time hero summoned 500 years ago to defeat the Demon lord and save the Universe. After being the only surviving Time Hero, he became a Time Lord and watched over the universe. Tymus is the most powerful Time Lord.

Segmond – A Good Hearted Person, who sacrificed himself to save his Village of 56 People.  Segmond became a Time Lord and has been for 150 years.

Mr. Hour – Mr. Hour was personally Trained by Father time himself.  Mr. Hour loves to tell Jokes, even though they usually aren’t funny.

Father Time – The Grand Father of Time. The First Time Lord since the universe was created.  His body was destroyed long ago, but his conscious soul was moved into a Large Stone now called “The Time Stone”.  Father Time keeps the Flow of Time running Normal from his Stone Prison.

Benithous – The First, Time Guard Soldier.  After a single year Benithous became the Captain of the Time Guard.  He has held this Position for over 700 Years.  He was just a boy when the Demons first attacked the World in the “Dark Elf War”.  His whole family was Slain during the attack which is when he dedicated himself to killing all demons and Evil in the world.

Thalithous – Benithous’s only child.  Thalithous is being trained to take over Benithous’s Position when he eventually Dies.

Kyven – The Main Trainer of the  Time Guards. Although Young and Cocky, Kyven is a strong fighter.

Kooma – The Mayor of Eldaridge. He has some knowledge to share and some quests to give.

Evil Forces

Pyrix Flameswath – The Phoenix Warlord. The Main Leader of the Phoenix Nation.  He is rarely seen by his Nations Inhabitants. Most of Pyrix’s will is driven through his nine Phoenix Lords.  The Phoenix lords keep fear and loyalty coursing through the Veins of the Phoenix Nation.  Pyrix has his own Phoenix Pet that he uses to fly to places and also fight for him.

Taso Edge – Taso is The First Phoenix lord and is Pyrix’s Personal Body Guard.  Taso is an amazing Swordsman and has a very short Temper.

Kruul – The Second Phoenix Lord. Kruul is a little larger than most of the Phoenix lords. Kruul Usually Defends the Front Gate of Phenroost.

Dangul – Dangul is Third Phoenix Lord.  He is one of Pyrix’s Body guards when Pyrix adventures to a Dangerous Place.  When not defending Pyrix, Dangul is usually Training his skills or drinking at one of the more Famous Bars in Phenroost.

Kragar – Kragar is the Fourth Phoenix Lord. He usually Defends Flamedon to the South.

Usuago – Usuago is the Firth Phoenix Lord. He Trains most of the Phoenix Nation Troops.

Phyrus Flameswath – Phyrus is not only the Sixth Phoenix Lord, but also Brother to Pyrix.  Phyrus is a powerful warrior that spent most of his childhood traveling the land.  When Pyrix first created the Phoenix Nation Phyrus was against the idea, but soon became one of their most powerful Warriors.

Pyron Flameswath – Pyrix’s only Son. From Birth was trained as a Phoenix Lord. One of the Most Blood Thirsty of all the Phoenix Lords as well as one of the most powerful. The Seventh Phoenix Lord. Another Bodyguard of Pyrix when he goes on Travels.

Carber – The Eighth Phoenix Lord. Although one of the more frail of the Phoenix Lords, his dagger skills are almost unmatched. Another Bodyguard of Pyrix when he goes on Travels.

Sebuuki – The ninth and last Phoenix Lord. Sebuuki deals with more of the Political Side of the Nation.  He makes sure Pyrix’s word is heard in the land even when Pyrix is away.


Dylon – One of the Weakest Members of the Dark Counsel. Does anything his Master Bids.

Skarlon – Skarlon is the right hand man of “???” doing anything Bid of him.

“???” – Master of the Dark Counsel. Still is unknown to almost everyone.

Neutral/Misc

Oozedrool and Snotspill – Goblin Treasure Hunters.

Blackjack – A Notorious Bandit.  There is quite a reward for this Thief.

RockJohn Axe – An Awesome Dwarf. Owned his own Shop with his Brother in Phenroost before he was kicked out of the City for no real reason.  Wants revenge on the Phoenix Nation for this Outrage. Rockjohn is skilled with Guns, Axes and Healing Magic.

Axeton Von Axe – RockJohn’s Biological Dwarf Brother.  Axeton is a Deadly Master of All forms of Axe combat and is a Damn fine Blacksmith to Boot.

Krob, Master of Random Things – Krob is a super-wise Old Frogman that lives in the Bone Branch Swamp.  Although his knowledge of everything is great, it can be a problem to get him to help you.  He acts crazy, but hes hiding something…

Ron Ironcore – One of the Best Blacksmith’s in all the Land. Ron Sells Equipment he’s made.  Later in the game you must Save Ron and bring him to Time’s End, or he is Lost Forever.  Saving Ron opens up additional Crafting Recipes.

Wanton – Wanton is one tough Warrior.  He was a Legendary Warrior Hundreds of Years ago, but he gave up fighting Wars and went into hiding.  Rumors have it he still Secretly Trains Fighters in his Hidden Dojo.




IMPORTANT NATIONS/CLANS/LOCATIONS


Phoenix Nation – Was once an overly friendly Nation of Humans.  Pyrix and his Band of Phoenix Lords (only 3 at the time) stormed the Main castle in this huge city. They slaughtered the King right off his Thrown.  A Large portion of the City started a rebellion and tried to take back there peaceful town but they were no match for the Phoenix Lords or Pyrix’s Pet Phoenix.  Pyrix claimed the City his own and renamed it Phenroost. Ruling through fear he made the City one of the most profitable and dangerous in the land.  After several years Pyrix created a Second city to the South called Flamedon.  After 15 years the Phoenix Nation has become a very reputable and Feared Force in the World.

Blue Nation – The Blue nation originally was just a small village with no real army.  After the siege on the now called Phenroost, many humans fleed during the Rebellion.  Eventually a New City was born.  The civilians decided to become The Blue Nation.  They tried to excel at kindness and prospered for several years.  Then they elected their strongest soldier to lead them in a better direction for the future.  After repeated attacks from orcs the Blue nation Increased there military quite a bit.  There are rumors of Evil Possessing there King.

Dark Counsel – The Dark Counsel is a Powerful group of Evil Magi.  They are the ones who summoned the Demon Lord 500 Years ago.  We also assume they are the ones trying todo it again.  Most of the Dark Counsel was Slain 500 years ago in “The Great Demon War” but there Master, Who is still unknown to this day Still Lives.  He has probably Trained some new Magi by now too.

Black Axe Orc Clan – A Clan  of Orcs. They are known for wearing Blackish clothing/armor and they usually have a White Axe picture Painted on their Stuff.

Cogscrew – This is a Goblin Techno-Town.  Lots of tough characters make a home here.  Always lots of rare stuff to buy.  One of the best places for an Engineer to go.  Just becareful here because there are a lot of random people who will beef you.  Cogscrew is located in the Flame Skar. NO Inferno Tooths Allowed!!

Inferno Tooth Clan – This is a particularly Nasty Clan of Orcs.  They are born and raised in extreme conditions. The Inferno Tooth clan controls about 50% of the Flame Skar.

Eldaridge – This is a small town located near Phenroost. This is a neutral town with no real owner or military.

Magical Forest – This is a Sneaky forest that shifts and moves. Many adventurers have entered never to return.  It is said that Magical Fairy’s Live inside the Forest.

Bonebranch Swamp – An extremely Dangerous Swamp.  Not only is it very hard to traverse through but its filled with many deadly creatures.

Stonehoof Clan – This is a Centaur Tribe. There Main City of Rumblerock is deep in the Flame Skar. The Stonehoofs are a mostly friendly clan, but don’t take to kindly to Orcs of any sort.

Times End – This is where all strands of time intersect and connect.  This is the Main City of the Time Guards and the Time Heroes and ofcoarse Father-time Himself. Not only does Times end have Several Vendors and Trainers, but as you progress through the game, a lot of the People you save end up coming here allowing access to more items/spells/abilities. Also Times end acts as a Portal Hub allowing heroes to Portal to Certain Parts of the World.

The Brotherhood – The Brotherhood is a Priest-Hood of Powerful Casters Lead by Grand Hierophant Zephyrmore Primsdale.  You cannot Join the Brotherhood, you must Be Born one of them.  From Birth you must choose a Path, The Path of Faith or the Path of Shadow.  Brothers of Faith have a much stronger Healing Potential and Higher level of Holy Power.  Brothers of Shadow are Masters of the Dark Tainted Arts.  The Brotherhood has Three Cities. Zenikal is the Main City of The Brothers of Faith.  Tormyth is the Main City of The Brothers of Shadow.  You will very Rarely See a Brother of Faith in Tormyth, and you will rarely see a Brother of Shadow in Zenikal.  Then there is “The Cloud” as they call it.  This is the Main Capitol of The Brotherhood and houses Both Brothers of Faith and Shadow. Also their Main Leader Lives in a Castle in “The Cloud” City.

The Tuvians – A Barbaric Nation of Humans.  Although they aren’t as Smart as regular humans they are much larger and much stronger.  They have been Peaceful for many Years now. Although they still kill Orcs/Goblins on Sight.

The Jackfin Company – Created by a Pirate named Jackfin.  They own several of the Port Cities around the World as well as control about half of the Waterways in the World.  These Pirates are usually pretty Neutral, but will exact harsh vengeance against anyone who dares Mess with their Operations or its Members.

But they were so developed and grew on me so i kept them.

This game is more about the combat/story/freedom.

Sonic / knuckles: you can probably just change the charsets and the name, and nobody will be any the wiser; but, alas, sonic doesnt have to be a bad thing, as long as he isn't portrayed fanboyishly. (is that a word???)

Demon of pwn /dps ninja: demons can have some pretty weird names i guess, but, is "dps ninja" the ninja's actual name? cause .. honestly it sounds a bit odd.

Maybe i shouldnt say this but one of the Secret Characters you can Earn through a nice quest Chain is Mario

and lol yes, his name is DPS ninja.

Stands for Damage per Second ninja.

Its what he does... it Grew on me, and hes my friends favourite character.

Although the Story gets rather intense, the game is more about the fun factor then being something all new etc like a brand new final fantasy or what ever.

like i say, as long as it doesnt look like you're just being a fanboy about it. all that means is, introduce some new story to the characters, don't make it follow their original game's storyline (unless it's satyrical) too much.

EVERY SINGLE character from another game (cloud/sonic etc)
have NOTHING and i mean NOTHING todo with there own game.
Although for example there is a place where u can find Ryu from Street fighter and after beating him in a fight he can Teach you the Shin Shoryuken for example.
Plus all the NPCs/story guys etc just refer to you as the Heroes of time. Not like... ZOMG ITS SONIC!!

But heroes like Sonic do get Abilities that they would have. Like Cloud gets Omni-Slash at a stupidly high level, while sonics crew get Spin attacks and such. But ofcoarse they can learn other attacks and spells from trainers.

when you unlock an Extra character they goto a Special inn where you can go and Switch up your Party as you see fit.

Goku is an unlockable character, but hes very tough to get. You gotta find him Throughout the Game, first as normal, then you must beat him in a fight. Then he moves somewhere else and becomes SS1, then you must beat him again. Then he moves again to a different location now SS2. You must beat him again for SS3 and SS4 and Then you help him Defeat Buu. But he is very hard to beat and fairly tough to find.

Also Extra characters only fit into Certain Character slots. So i guess technically you cant customize the team 100%.

You somewhat had my interest until I got past the key features.  Well, that's not entirely true.  I could barely pay attention keeping in mind the name @.@  If this is your first game, I say save yourself the effort and give up now, save this game for a later project.  Alway skeep your games small enough that you know you can manage to finish it.

Finish it? This is loosly based off a Dungeons and Dragons world i made. I spent over 2 years designing this world. I have an entire binder full of stuff like maps, characters, stories, quests, drawings, etc.

Ive been working on this game in my spare time for exactly 1 year 8 months and 16 days now. So ive put a **** load of time into it and there is ALOT more past where i stopped with the story. There is more secrets than you can shake a stick at. No matter where you go there is a ton of everything.

But dont think the game is bogged down or ridiculous. Although there are some themes that take away from the More DnD aspect of the World, it does blend into a very fun enjoyable game with a Wicked intense Combat system and combats. And i personally like the story when you look at it from start to finish... but then again i wrote it.

Ive actually been working on a book that covers the Main heroes and there adventures. Also loosely Based off DnD sessions.

I was really dissapointed when I got to the character bit, but only for a while. Overall it looks like it's going to be really fun and not take itself too seriously. I don't agree with only being able to have black mage if you have cloud (tons of people would love to have a traditional black mage but wouldn't dream of having cloud in their party) but other than that, it looks cool actually. And that's kinda surprising.
