wip- new battlesprite template

I dunno I always found the RTP one kinda hokey. It looked sorta like they're dancing whenever they're idle.

SO I'm working on a new template. I've done most of the sketches but this is the first one I've managed to make into a sprite. It's a male KO sprite (since it's the easiest to make)

the arms look weird.  I like the sprite style though.

The style looks good but the perspective's really wrong. You've given yourself a massive challenge in that respect with the angle that he's lying.

His torso's flat on to the camera so it looks like he's floating. To make that pose work you'd need to see more of the top of the legs rather than the side, and you wouldn't be able to see the neck at all. The head would be partially behind the chest, and the torso would get smaller the further up it goes.

No! That's alright. It helps me! I was actually having trouble. I was drawing from a model but even he looked awkward :-/. I might just dump this pose. But what I'm trying to show is the style.

Yeah, that's amazing. I even think that it's probably the best human shape I've seen in a rpgm resource.

Really amazing. Altthough I think that something could perhaps be done with the eyes. It might just be me but I think they look a little odd.

Exellent either way, I'd love to see more of this.

Yeah, I wasn't digging the eyes. AoS wasn't digging them. So I just took them out. I dunno if it looks okay, or if I hsould try to do something. It's just that the freedom to actually make good looking eyes is difficult since it's so small. They either look weird or too cartoony. Here's a little more of her. I'm just doing the main poses right now and will animate them after. Tomorrow I will work on my men-folk.
